Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
How exactly do you do this trick? can someone please explain it to me clearly, like what exactly you go to once you get to the website?
Log in to Pearson vue with your username and pw. Once you are in your account, click on the "Register" icon. Go through the registration process, and if a message pops up that says "Contact your member board, you can not register at this time", apparently it is a sign that you have passed. It worked for me! Also, on the page for current activity for your account, it should say "Delivery Successful" meaning that Pearson has recieved or sent your test results...
So, i just got home from my exam and i went to log into my pearsonvue account and sure enough- I FORGOT MY PASSWORD! They are supposed to be resending it to me right now but its been about 30 min, still dont have it, and I'm starting to get angry. i'm staring at my email and I'm getting new messages from people asking how i did and i cant reply until i get my password!
I hope to god it doesnt let me register for the test again, i do NOT want to go through this a second time.
my friend just reminded me that it needs to have one capital letter and 1 number. I got it to work :) BUTTTTi got a different pop up then other people did. When I got to the payment section the pop up came up and said "This person already has an open registration with this account." I know that isnt the same message everyone else is getting, and i need to know why...OMG did i fail?!
Ok, I'm totally upset because my test was horrible!! I didn't take all 265 but was pretty darn close. I just remember when I looked to see what number I was on I was happy that I was almost done and a few questions after that it shut off. I took almost 3 and a half hours to test, I was sooo ready to be done. When I got home I tried the trick and I got the message saying "you are previously registers contact board for more info" after entering my school info I hope that is a good sign at least for now. I feel awful though my questions were horrible!!
Merged with existing thread for continuity
Good luck
I took my boards at 2 oclock today (7/16) and got home at 5. At 6:00 i tried the pearsonvue trick. When I logged in it said my status was "ready for delivery". I did the whole process again and after I entered my school information i got a pop up saying:
"This candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time."
Its now 9pm and I'm still trying and still receiving the same message. I hope someone knows whats going on.
Thanks,
Lindsey
Hi everyone--
I just took my NCLEX-RN on the 15th of this month-yesterday. So, I've been checking the "trick" ever since I got home. It has always given me the message that everyone hopes to see!
Since I have read 3/4 of this thread, and it has MORE than helped to ease my mental anguish, I figured I'd chip in and add my own experience. At this point, I really don't think that I'll be "THE ONE" who the "trick" works against! I mean to say, I don't think I'll be the first to have this trick let me down. Really, I have read this thread from the beginning, and like another poster said, the "trick" has like a 99.99% accuracy rate!
I did the Kaplan review to prepare, in addition to reading the Saunder's book 2 times. I had all high 60's, 70's, and some 80's on qbanks- qtrainers were all 70's except for the first one which was 68...
What else can I tell you...I felt like I had passed when I left that test center. This worried me, since no one else says they feel this way. I had 12 SATA, 9 meds (knew half of them), and tons of infection control.
One thing about infection control...I went to the CDC website, and printed off information from them regarding transmission based precautions. I never second guessed myself on the NCLEX about this kind of question, since I had studied CDC so hard!
What else...I studied from 10-12 hours/day...Reading Saunder's and taking Kaplan online questions. Oh, and I felt that Kaplan was really right on with how the NCLEX questions were presented, and well as with the content the questions consisted of.
Who know's? Maybe I'll be on here tomorrow morning, crying, telling you all that I'm the FIRST to have the trick let me down! At any rate, I will come back and give a report. I live in Colorado, so we do the early results thing. I swear, I FEEL for all of yall in CA. What hell to go through with that wait! I bet something can be done about that though. Seems like there's power in numbers.
At any rate, I'll be back tomorrow. This thread has given me such comfort!
dny
I am just staring at inbox waiting till someone comments on ANYTHING i've posted. thank you for getting back to me. I have a feeling that since I took it so late in the afternoon I'm going ot have to wait until tomorrow...i wonder if it will be posted on my state board before Pearsonvue says delivery successful.
ugghhhhh this is killing me
I also tested at 2pm, so there is hope that you will be able to do it tonight. Like you, I waited in front of the computer until I was forced to go out to dinner! lol. Once I got seated at the restaurant, I checked the pearson vue website from my cell phone and it said "delivery successful" and I was so mad because I didn't want to check it and possibly have a breakdown in public! I ended up waiting until I got home which was unbearable. Try to watch TV or do something to distract you for just a little while. Before you know it, you will be able to try it. Good luck!
