Pearsonvue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 3

1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3. Click 'register' on the right side.
4. Click the 'credit card' link.
5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6. Enter your username.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the button.
9. Click 'register' on the left side.
10. Select your test type.
11. Click the button.
12. Select your country.
13. Click the button.
14. Answer the yes/no questions.
15. Select your country again.
16. Select your state.
17. Type in your city.
18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19. Select your school.
20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
21. Select your board of nursing.
22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I really hope i passed the exam. My results will be released tomorrow. I am hoping for a miracle even if when i did the pvt, it took me to the cc page bec i really felt good aftr the exam and i felt like i did a good job after the 85questions. I called pearson vue and they said the pvt is not true and just a coincidence. I am hoping for the best.

Trust me you passed!!! I took mmine the 31st, first time, and was pretty surprised when it shut off at 75! I didnt believe it either till i got my quick results, and now I have my license number also!! So TRY and relax.. I am sure it means you passed! Havnt heard anyone who got that pop up, and then failed.. I got that exact same one.. congratulations!!

Hello everyone! Im new here :) I just took my nclex exam today and when I go thru peason vue to try to do the trick. It does not let me go to the payment screen, a box pops up that says " The canidate currently has test results that are on hold, a new registration cannot be made at this time" does anyone know what this means?? im freaking out.. plzz someone help!

This means that your results have not been delivered for some reason. The most common reason for this is that your test was audited for some reason. It could have been selected for random review, or you might have been flagged for some reason during the test. Did you have any problems signing into the test with your fingerprints? Did you leave frequently? Did you use your cell phone or any electronic devices at any point? Did you talk to anyone during the test or on breaks? Did you erase your white board or write down information before the test began? Any of those things could have gotten you flagged for possible cheating and your results will be on hold until Pearson VUE can review your test.

The Pearson VUE trick is not accurate if your results are on hold.

Thanks for the quick response.. I had 75 questions, I took my time and finished in 1hr 45min.

I didnt take any breaks. I used the white board for my math problems, but did not erase anything on it. I had to raise my hand so the test monitor could bring me a calculator because the one on the computer was not working. I didnt talk to anyone or anything.. Im just really anxious to get the results!

I also had the same situation when I took the exam, and it has been on that 'hold' status for days! and it really made me crazy coz it don't mean anything - pass or fail. But I continued trying the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up 4-5 days after I took the exam. After a week from my exam, I had seen my name posted on BRN!! Keep on praying and trying the PVT or if you can't help it, just wait for the unofficial results 48 business hours after you took your exam (of course if your state participates in the quick results service of PV). I had 75 questions, I took my time and read each question and answers twice and just stayed calm.. That is the best advice I can give anyone.. I get test anxiety but I felt ok during the test.

My state does not participate in the quick results. That is comforting! good for you! my friend just told me her results were on hold for a long time and she actually went to the BRN website a week later and found that her licence was active.. :) I will keep everyone updated.

Based on my research, these are some of the reasons why you can get a 'hold' message. But don't you worry, if you know you didn't do anything wrong, you'll be fine. On my experience, my attention was called when I forgot to take off 1 earring by one of the proctors before I got in the testing site. But I take it off w/o any questions. It really made me nervous, but I'm happy that they didn't take that as anything against me.

I've also read that one has a hold message because he/she used his/her cellphone during break. And eventually failed and his/her attention was called by the BON.
