Pearsonvue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 3

1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3. Click 'register' on the right side.
4. Click the 'credit card' link.
5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6. Enter your username.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the button.
9. Click 'register' on the left side.
10. Select your test type.
11. Click the button.
12. Select your country.
13. Click the button.
14. Answer the yes/no questions.
15. Select your country again.
16. Select your state.
17. Type in your city.
18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19. Select your school.
20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
21. Select your board of nursing.
22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Took the NCLEX RN today @ 8AM. Finished at 10:15AM

I tried the PV Trick and this is what it says.

"The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time"

Status: Delivery Successful

What does it mean? Did i fail? ohhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooooo!!! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD FOR ME!!!

It was a pop up. But i think it's different from what people usually see.

I got 75 questions. Lots of SATA, then 3 drag and drop, and a lot of prioritization. Not that much of infection control(although i expected a lot of it.)

Hope you're right that i did not fail. :)

Well I think you passed. Do your quick results tomorrow if you can. Thats what I did to convince myself.

I tried it again and now it says... "The candidate has previously passed the exam. A new appointment cannot be scheduled."

Congrats! The first popup message that you got meant that the results were not yet calculated. I got that same message as well and FREAKED OUT. But 15 minutes later I got the 'previously passed the exam' message. You definitely passed :))

Hi. I took the exam in California (so no Quick Results) on 11/30/11 at 8am. Done at 10:02 after 102 questions. I did the PVT and the pop-up I got said, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." On older boards this was considered the "good" pop-up. Does anyone know if this is still the case (that the odds are in my favor)?

Hi all! I just took my NCLEX RN today at 11 and finished within an hour and a half..I was shut off at 75q's. I did the PVT and I got what i believe is the 'good pop up' but it did not bluntly say 'this candidate has previously passed this exam...etc" but it said "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I have read elsewhere on this site that that is a good pop up, but also read a majority of the good pop ups that state "this candidate has previously passed this exam" So i am curious as to what exactly my pop up means?! ANY INPUT WOULD BE APPRECIATED!! thank you!
