Pearsonvue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 3

1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3. Click 'register' on the right side.
4. Click the 'credit card' link.
5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6. Enter your username.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the button.
9. Click 'register' on the left side.
10. Select your test type.
11. Click the button.
12. Select your country.
13. Click the button.
14. Answer the yes/no questions.
15. Select your country again.
16. Select your state.
17. Type in your city.
18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19. Select your school.
20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
21. Select your board of nursing.
22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

You guys are getting your results relatively quick! I took my nclex on the 19th and got the good pop up in a few hours right after the exam. Wonder how long they usually send you the results pass or fail!? I live in California

I am from PA. I took the NCLEX-RN exam on Monday, October 22 at 10am. I completed 75 questions at 12pm when the exam stopped. Technically, you can pass OR fail at 75 questions and I thought my questions weren't getting difficult as others who have passed attested to. So, I was very pessimistic walking out of that testing center. Got home at 1pm and did the Pearson Vue Trick - did not get the credit card page. Instead, got this message: Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. So okay, this was a kinda good sign, right? Went into a deep sleep after an early dinner...

...Woke up at 4am and checked to see if my name was on PA RN License Verification website on Tuesday, October 23. Nothing yet. Then re-checked at 7am. Still no results. Re-checked at 9am and finally had an official nursing license (number)!

Hi all!!! I took my NCLEX-RN just yesterday... I stopped at 158 with a SATA question as the VERY LAST ONE.... OMG RIGHT? Anyway, I checked the pearson vue website after an hour of completion and received the "good pop-up"... Does anyone know how long its take for the CA BON to officially place your name on their site? I've heard mix reviews and need a little clarification. The anticipation is killing me!

Congratulations,I took mine 22ndvtoo but didnt do PVT.....I don't know how long it will take to put your name on BRN site.some are saying the next morning but sometime they took long I think...Confused..someone clarify please!!!!

I don't know ... I'm from Calif too and recd letter I passed but they are doing background check now and I thought we had to pay the fee for license before our name is listed on Calif website? Hmmm now I don't know

Took nclex on the 10/19 and got a good pop up within 3 hours. I finally received the letter from the boards stating that I passed on 10/29. So happy!
