  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

The PVT, or PearsonVue Trick is to go home after taking the NCLEX and to try and register to take it again. If you are not able to, if Pearson won't take your money, it means you have passed.

The $7.95 is a fee you pay via credit card to Pearson 48 hours after you take the test which will tell you whether you have passed.

Both of these are unofficial; i.e. they are what Pearson is saying, not what your individual state board of nursing is saying.

The only official result is the granting of a license to practice as a nurse given by your state board of nursing. In most states this can be found out by visiting the state website and typing your name into a search field which will then show your license number, issue date, expiration date, any complaints or disciplinary actions against your license and so on.

I do not know what is done in the Philippines.

All the best to you!

i found out today (via quick results) that i passed! so i guess it works!! :nurse:

just wanted to add to this because i def know what most of yall are feeling and after weeks of studying for this exam when the computer shut off on me at 75 i wanted to cry i was wanting to cry at 33 and contimplating how i would inform my parents and loved ones i failed and i am not one to be negative but those questions were just not what i expected! so i went home not really knowing what the trick was but my friends who just took it told me to do it so i did after getting the "good" pop up i was still in shock and still crying cause i wanted more confirmation and reading these posts gave me more confidence so yeppp,,,paid the 8 bucks to get the quick results and it shows-PASS- just wanted to add that the trick does work and just breath and stay positive! for those who didnt get the "good" pop up keep your head up this is one hard degree and we didnt get this far for nothing! i have severe ADD to preparing for this was not my fave but we did it congrats nurses!

I took my NCLEX RN today. It shut off at 75 and I felt like I was going to vomit or pass out. Worst.test.ever! I felt prepared going in and got my tukus handed to me taking it, or so it felt! I got the "good" pop-up but still can't believe it till I see the quick and officials!!! I want to thank the leader of the post, I can't tell you how helpful having the directions right in front of me was! I was really nervous because in some of the other posts it states the popup read something like "the candidate has passed and cannot register...blah, blah" and I received the "old" good popup. It helped to calm me a little which was extremely helpful- SOOO, THANK YOU to Silverdragon102!!! Praying for the official "pass" still :bored:

I took my Nclex last Saturday Sept 29 and got home after a couple of hours and checked the PVT and gave me a good pop out!!! ( I know coz the first time it took me to CC page and I failed) It remained until now and my name came out on CA BRN just this morning!!! PVT works for me. Thank GOD, Thanks and Goodluck to all!!! Dont forget...prayers prayers prayers!!!!

Yeah i read it through and used that to guide me but im stuck when they started asking username and password cause i have no idea which one... I had an agency process the whole test for me so i was thinking if its the one they send to our email for eligibilty... Was it?

If the agency registered you with pearsonvue and didn't give you the name and password then I suspect you can not do the 'trick' unless you ask the agency for the details
