i took my test on 2/7 and got back my results today and FAILED! i tried the trick and it did let me go all the way through to the payment, but knowing if this trick works or not, it did help me earlier, i studied bak after i know there is a possibility of failing and when i got the letter i wasn't that sad but expected, so this trick no matter helpful or not, i did not waste my time to sit and wait for restults, i did 3 weeks of studying and planning to take it again by the end of March.

Thats awesome, I'm glad it did help you, and it helped me also the first time I failed- I took my test asap almost right on the 45 days mark- I'm glad I didn't waste my time waiting to find out I failed; (goodluck- I did the NCSBN learningext.com 3 week plan and I passed my second time at 85 questions in a hour and a half) this is what I think alot of us tried this trick and it was intended for. To prepare us for either a unfortunate fail so we could STUDY, or a pass to give us a sign of relief. Thank you for your comment it just goes to show again that pearsonvue will let you pay again if you didn't pass, and that you can take this negativity and turn it into something positive and study ahead of time. God doesn't like Ugly my nursing instructor used to always tell me, We need more positive nurses out there!!! So good luck!!!! You can do it!!

This is good to know. It looks like you all took the PN test. Does it work for RN the same way? (I can't see why it wouldn't..) But this is good to know as I will have a couple of major decisions to make in the few days following my exam, and it would really help to have an idea of whether I had passed or not to know what to do..
I'm sorry to anyone who hasn't gotten the results they wanted through this "trick".. I know how it feels. I KNEW I had failed the first time around when I walked out of the test. But I think that preparing myself for the worst actually helped me cope when the results came in. It was actually a relief. Waiting is the worst part, I'm sorry..

So you are saying that..since it did let me go all the way to the payment method..this is clearly say that i FAILED

then...So if you think this is reliable for you and you failed because you tried the trick..then maybe everyone should try it..and we sgould inform the Board of Nursing about this..so we dont have to wait for 3-4 weeks agony of waiting..we can help more people who took the test and waiting then..I will try to call Pearsonvue and the Board on Monday and tell them about the trick and tell them i failed..because it let me go to the payment method..Thanks for info...then my waiting is over..dont have to wait for the mail..since you know you failed already..then i failed too..SO NCLEX TESTER..TRY THE TRICK ..IT WORKS..NO MORE WAITING..SOMEONE HERE SAID IT WORKS FOR HIM/HER..GOOD LUCK!

Until you get proper notification from BON I wouldn't use this method as a way of checking whether you passed or not.

They said it works for them..who just passed and failed...? There must be something that Pearsonvue

are not telling us after the exam is over the minute you walk out of the testing center if this really works..

I dont think anybody here knows if this so called "trick"works. I think that this is an unreliable way to know whether you pass or not. As I posted before and others did, this basically just helps relieve some anxiety especially if you have to wait 3-4 weeks. This is not something to make a big issue about.

I feel the best thing is to just wait for your results. If you feel that there is some truth to this "trick" then start studying like the other poster did. I wouldn't make this a big case or anything just find something to distract yourself while you wait for your results.

Sorry but you still have to wait 3-4 weeks for your results to come in the mail no matter what, because even if you did fail you may be able to pay pearson vue the 200 dollars, but in the letter you get from the board saying you failed you get a paper you have to fill in an reregister to take the LVN board again and pay the 75 dollar fee to the board attached to your paper form. Because you won't get your ATT to test until the board gets this money and form. So your 200 dollars will just be siting waiting on pearsonvue but you won't be able to make a test date until you get your ATT from the board.

Let us not make a big deal outta this "trick" thing. It may or may not be true. Nevertheless, nobody said that it is indeed true. It is just a speculation. A maybe. As what the other posters said-- to keep their sanity. So it is all on you to decide whether or not believe it. It has been stressed a lot of times that only that letter from the Board of Nursing can tell you the results. So until you get it, you will never know for sure..

Oh my! is this really true? this is upsetting... i tried it just now and it let me register until i reach the payment page..

i think i need to study all over again...
