I took my test on the 15th of August and received the good pop up (I'm in CA)
Since then, I've been checking daily and continued to get the good pop up until yesterday. Yesterday there was a website update. A complete new look and no more suspenseful pop up message. It seems that everyone is not going to the CC page. I proceeded to submit my credit cars information and process and the "good pop up" will appear then. If you failed apparently it will take your money. So the good pop up is still alive and well we just have to be a little more risky to get to it. I suppose if you fail & they take your money it's inevitable anyhow. Good luck everyone! I attached a print screen of the new "good pop up"
Just because one gets what they think is a good pop-up, and then officially hears they passed does not mean the new trick 'works'.
I haven't heard (on AN forums anyway) of a single person getting their credit card charged, and subsequently learning they failed.
Your credit card being charged if you failed is, at this point, an assumption.

If the negative cannot be confirmed (failing), then the positive is not confirmed (passing). 90% of test takers pass. Where is the input from the other 10% (since the PV website change)?
In order to assume the 'trick' works, you have to have evidence (and a significant amount, at that) that the input process is identical for each user, and that the results of CC transmission screens are different (one processes your card, the other doesn't), and that those differences equal differing outcomes (pass or fail). So far, all I have heard is that cards haven't been charged, and everyone has passed. I haven't heard the opposite.
Because of this, there is zero evidence to support that this 'trick' works.

This cannot be repeated enough! I hate to think of people doing this and feeling like they passed only to not. Ugh how horrible.
I know its tempting, but stay calm everyone, for most of you the 48 hours will fly. Its been 48 hours for and it seems like I just walked out. I don't get early results so I still don't know. But if you live in a 48 hours state deep breaths, its not an eternity.
When I got my LVN years ago I waited almost 3 weeks! Now that sucked. 48 hours is nothing!

The margaritas have definitely been flowing in my house the last two nights lol, I actually feel okay about it all though. Of course I wish PVT worked, but it doesn't, so instead I'll hang out here and wait for the CA BRN to post or not post.

I took my test at 4pm eastern time (I'm in NY), on Tuesday, and I didn't finish until 6. Will I be able to get the results today at 6pm or do you have to finish your exam by a certain time to get the results in 2 days? I feel like I have to wait an extra business day because I finished so late. I'm a neurotic mess and I just want to know if I passed. I never wanted anything so badly in my life! I feel like my life is on hold. Ugghhhh. If anyone can let me know if I'll be able to access those results today I'd be very grateful. I'm hoping my case will be just like yours and I'll receive it tomorrow. Did you status change on Pearson Vue once you received the official results?
Right after I took my test earlier this August, I did the Pearson vue trick and had the good pop up. I know how you're feeling! Really wished CA participated in the quick results. When I got my official results, I just paid the license fee and now I'm waiting again. Lol. Try to keep your mind off of it. I'm sure you did great! :)

Yes, so frustrating and so true, the wait continues for the license. Grrrr... Did you ever check to see of your status changed on Pearson Vue? I've read some people saying that their status never changed to show "Pass" even thought they've already obtained their license number. Thank you ?
