I took my test on the 15th of August and received the good pop up (I'm in CA)

Since then, I've been checking daily and continued to get the good pop up until yesterday. Yesterday there was a website update. A complete new look and no more suspenseful pop up message. It seems that everyone is not going to the CC page. I proceeded to submit my credit cars information and process and the "good pop up" will appear then. If you failed apparently it will take your money. So the good pop up is still alive and well we just have to be a little more risky to get to it. I suppose if you fail & they take your money it's inevitable anyhow. Good luck everyone! I attached a print screen of the new "good pop up"

what great news! have you heard of this not working for anyone yet? I know it is really kind of early to tell since the site was just updated

I've not heard yet of anyone who received the "good pop up" failing; however, I have heard people who thought they failed with the bad pop up and actually end up passing. If you go back on this thread, there are a few people who tried the updated trick and received the good pop then followed up that the trick worked and they passed ?

Hey guys!

i just wanted to let u know that i passes my nclex! I took mine on 8/22 and checked my result through BON website today. After i took my test, i did get a good popup and then didnt get it after the website's maintenance. I didint want to risk $200.00 loss so i just waited and i finally got the result! So i just wanted to let u know those of u guys who got the good popup before the update, just believe it! I'm pretty sure if u ever got a good popup, u passed!

Anxiously waiting for my result. I'm from California, I took my test last Friday 8/22. Did the PVT trick Friday night and Saturday morning. Received a good pop up. Then the maintenance happen. I read thread here and have my hopes up.

But, it's been 8/27 now and still California BON and their site for verification of licenses haven't update yet. I'm wondering how long is the wait and is there anyone from California here waiting for their license as well? Keeping my fingers crossed.

I waited 4days but some of my friend got her result after 1 1/2 weeks. It's really depends on person i guess. Keep checking BON website. Pray hard! And im pretty sure u passed! Relax and enjoy ur time until u get ur result! U deserve it!

@jersey12 thank you! It's really nerve wrecking. ?

Hi mighymom3 it seems I am in the same boat that you were a few days ago. I took my test this morning it shut off at 120 questions. I put my credit card information in and hit next and I did not see the red triangle saying that I was already scheduled for the exam.. I was unsure if I was suppose to hit submit but when I saw another persons post it looked like I should have got the notification before hitting submit so im feeling pretty bad right now. I did not hit submit yet i think im just going to wait until Friday and get the quick results

Hi! Don't feel bad, you didn't get the red pop up notification because you didn't hit submit. There is still a possibility that you got the "good pop up" it only appears after you submit your information. My friend took his yesterday and he received, "test is on hold" he feels he failed but even without the good pop up they didn't take his money. At this point, I think that's the only 2 pop ups that appear. Initially everyone will see the pop up. I hope you are reading this and will not be so down. Regardless, nothing is certain until it's official.

I meant to say above that initially everyone will see the CC section which is no longer the bad pop up.

Hey guys! I found out that I passed today and got the good pop up. So there's a possibility it works!

I graduated a year and a half ago and due to personal issues didn't sit for the exam until two days ago for the first time. If you put your mind to it, you can do it. Congrats to all who passed and good knowledge (not luck) to everyone else!

Congratulations! I also waited a while to test, it's okay though... A title of an LVN or RN does not differ by how many times or how long it took someone to take the test. Good job ?

Just because one gets what they think is a good pop-up, and then officially hears they passed does not mean the new trick 'works'.

I haven't heard (on AN forums anyway) of a single person getting their credit card charged, and subsequently learning they failed.

Your credit card being charged if you failed is, at this point, an assumption.

I haven't heard of a single person getting their credit card charged, and subsequently passing.

If the negative cannot be confirmed (failing), then the positive is not confirmed (passing). 90% of test takers pass. Where is the input from the other 10% (since the PV website change)?

In order to assume the 'trick' works, you have to have evidence (and a significant amount, at that) that the input process is identical for each user, and that the results of CC transmission screens are different (one processes your card, the other doesn't), and that those differences equal differing outcomes (pass or fail). So far, all I have heard is that cards haven't been charged, and everyone has passed. I haven't heard the opposite.

Because of this, there is zero evidence to support that this 'trick' works.
