Pearson vue trick

Hey all, I took boards yesterday and tried the pot. I tried changing the expiration date like I was instructed to do and it didn't give me the good pop up but I don't know if it was the bad pop up either so I was wondering of someone can help me. What is the bad pop up..

So nobody knows what the bad pop up is supposed to be for the PVt? I know it's not accurate but for my records and curiosity I would like to know what the bad pop up saya

There isn't really a bad "pop up". You get a receipt for your card being charged, basically.

Well I used the incorrect expiration date which I was told to do and it said the credit card was invalid. Not sure if that is bad or if it really just means it was a invalid card information

Normally if the card says invalid that's considered the bad pop up which means it tried to charge your card . Just wait for the quick results to get the official results .

So nobody that you know of has ever gotten that message and passed?

The PVT isn't accurate and People definitely get the bad pop up and still pass . Happens a lot . Just wait on your results . I'm sure you did fine . Majority of people pass first time (about 85%).

Well that makes me feel a little better. I just assumed with mostly patient teaching questions and prioritize questions and only having 77 questions that I passed. But I was shocked not getting the good pop up

You can never really tell if u passed regardless of the type of questions or number of questions . We will never figure out how the nclex is graded . Just keep your fingers crossed !

I will definitely do that

If your card is a real credit card but you change up the expiration date and it still tried to charge, you failed. It's suppose to say "our records indicate...." It should be done after twenty four hours. Hang in there man. I hope you pass.

Hey there! Did you already received your results?

If it was days after taking the exam you received a message along the lines of "contact your bank", or any other indication your credit card had a charge attempt, the odds are good that you failed. It is possible that you passed and the attempt to charge was made anyway (which is why you cannot rely on the "trick" any more than you can your own best guess).

Having 77 questions is not the minimum number of questions. It IS the number at which the computer was confident that you were either prepared to enter practice or not prepared to enter practice. You either well or poorly, overall.

NO one can tell you definitively whether the questions you were receiving were above or below the passing standard, or how much above or below so that the computer made its determination where it did. Prioritization and patient teaching questions can be above or below the passing standard, so you really can't read anything into that, honestly.

Based only on the PVT, it would seem you failed. But since it's not 100% accurate....you can still hope :)

Good luck!
