2 of my friends and I took our Nclex exam 2 weeks ago and we all 3 tried the Pearson Vue trick right after we walked out of the building and each of us got the "good pop-up". It would not allow us to register again. I had another friend take the exam yesterday and she got the "bad pop-up". It allowed her to register again and pay the $200. The 3 of us have received our licenses and the 4th friend is now studying to take the test again The Pearson Vue Trick WORKS!!!!
I took my test yesterday and it shut off after 75. I was certain I failed and still am. I've done the pvt and it gives me the "good " pop-up. The problem is I'm pending on the OBN website still ,but others that have taken it the same day are on it with their active license showing. So, I'm doubting the pvt a little at the moment.
HERE ARE THE EXACT STEPS TO SEE IF YOU PASSED OR FAILED THE NCLEX EXAM ON THE PEARSON VUE WEB SITE:
1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex.
2) Select the 'Test Taker Services' tab at the top.
3) Click 'Register' on the right side.
4) Click the 'Credit Card' link.
5) Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) Enter your Username.

VERY IMPORTANT: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the Credit Card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I am another believer of the Pearson vue trick. I took NCLEX on Tuesday and came home to the good pop up. (I answered all 265 questions!) Yesterday afternoon I was able to view my quick results and I passed. Another person I know who didn't pass NCLEX received the bad pop up when she tried it and will be retaking NCLEX soon. So yes...it works!!!
Really she went through to the credit card page? Congratulations btw ..... I don't think I'll be able to find out till Monday I took it yesterday at 1 pm was out by 1.50 !! Xxxxx I'm still getting the good pop up so fingers crossed xxxxx I really can't face another practice test.... Feel so bad for your friend tho... It's hideous x
Hi everyone, I'm a Cali test taker & took NCLEX on June 22nd. I've got the "good" popup like 4 times now... But I still haven't received any results from the BRN. So worried about whether I passed & the length of time it's taking to receive results. Is it normal to work this long? Is this a bad sign?
TLCsmiley13,
I'm right there with you. I took the NCLEX-RN over two weeks ago on Tuesday, June 28, and my name is still not on CA BRN. I, too, continue to get the good pop-up on Pearson Vue, which is somewhat comforting to me. Have you called the BRN to verify that your application is complete? They could be missing your transcript or something, which could explain the delay (they won't issue your license until your application is complete). I called the BRN, and I just have to wait for them to key in my transcript. Not sure exactly how long that will take.
While PVT is giving me a small bit of hope, waiting for OFFICIAL results is getting to be too much for me to bear.
