Hi All..... I am highly considering CRNA as a career. I have one year ER experience, ACLS, studying for CCRN, and in the interview process for a SICU position. I beleive I am on the right path. Any other suggestions on how I can make myself more attrative to these competitive programs would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone have any current info on Otterbein/Grant Medical program in Columbus, OH area? Its fairly new. Im interested in hearing any personal first hand experiences with this program. Thanks.

Hi All... have any of you heard anything from Otterbein? How is the process going for you? How was the interview? How many people apply vs the 20 that are selected? Please share your experiences. I am planning on applying soon for the January 2014 entrance class. There is not a lot of information out there, I assume as a result of the program being so new. Just looking for some insight. Sooooo...... I'm in Stats WITH 2 nursing courses... This is serious stuff man! Kudos to you. lol. Just a WHOLE LOT of busy work. So, question>>>>>> For Stats, should I use the 10 module assignments and pdf course notes to study for the midterm and final?

So...... inquiring minds want to know.... How did you make out with 3 classes in 5weeks? Im signed up for Stats, Nursing Research and gerontology.

Is it an 80 that is required for passing statistics? I thought we needed an 80 in the nursing courses and a C or better in the support courses? How is stats going? I am trying to get into it for the second 5 week course. I absolutely need it so I can stay on track with my nursing courses and graduate this summer, but I dont want it to be a headache of a class. Also, do you have to take the exams somewhere where they can be proctored? please share your experience with this course.... :)

Anyone in ohio have any ideas on where I can get the Ohio Regulations and Standards thats 18$ online and take 7-10 business days? Clearly I dont have that kind of time! Hellllpppppppp:banghead: Also, Im in NRSE 330 and 335 right now. I plan on taking 405 and 410 together for the next 5weeks, am i crazy? (whipers....i was gonna tag on a 5week stat course also:confused:) will i regret it? i work 3 days a week and dont have ANY distractions at home. please advise. Im just trying to be compelete THIS summer. if i dont take 405 next 5weeks, I'll have to wait almost a year to take it:uhoh3:

Also... any advise for NRSE300???? Seems rather easy so far. I tested out of NRSE 310. I'll be taking 2 classes at a time and praying to balance it all and finish in July 2012.

Hi. Any Northeast Ohio nursing students take Basic Nutrition (3 creidts) at Cuyahoga Community College and get credit for it at OU???? I know I need nutrition but i'm not 100% sure if it transfers and I wont get my DARS for quite some time. ((newby here)). there's a VERY HELPFUL website that allows me to determine "school equivilancies".... but I just want some more input. Thanks for any help.

> When i submitted my app for this program i had not taken nclex and i made that known on my application. i have been accepted to start (the fall program in 2weeks) and i still have not taken nclex. my date is 2 days before the actual start date of the program, oct 15. Im advised to register by oct12. Does anyone know when they are going to seek out a license number??should i register and just drop if i dont pass (100% money back during first few days of class start). sincerely, anxious and confused student. thanks!

The PVT does work! Im a firm believer. I walked away from nclex knowing i failed it. Checked PV 3 hours later (once delivery successful) and it took me stright to the cc page! I prayed i would be the 1% where the trick was wrong! SO NOT the case! 48hrs later PV confirmed my "FAIL".

Hi... Im REALLY interested in the OU online program. I have ALL the pre-reqs, app ready to be completed and transcripts just sent. HOWEVER.... I am not taking my boards until mid-Aug. Has anyone ever gotten i at the last minute? Does anyone know if OU will consider me withOUTthe license number on my app?, but nvlec scheduled? The class doesnt begin until October... thats more than enough time! Or are they really strict?
