Pearson Vue Trick NCLEX RN 2017 265 Questions Wisconsin

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey all!

I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!

Hey... So I took my boards in PA on Nov 14th 2017 at 12pm... I got there early and they let me test early. I had 106 questions and I thought I for sure failed! It was really hard and I found myself guessing between 2 answers most of the time... Had a ton of SATA. Once I got home I read about the pvt trick and heard about it from a co worker... Tried it and got the "good pop up" I was a little relieved but still not sure bc I thought for sure I bombed the test. Tried it again a few hours later and all night... Still good pop up. In the morning I was reading a blog that said if you try to register for a license again it will give u a message of "sorry. Unable to register you currently have a license". I then checked on the BON website and my nursing license was there at 8:45 the morning after taking the Nclex. So needless to say the PVT works and I am officially an RN!!!

Yesss! Congrats!!!

How soon after you take the test can you try doing the PVT? Is it immediate or do you have to wait a few hours?

Hi Everyone,

I read the comments about PVT and I want to share my experience. It's been a long journey after I failed the first exam with 265 grueling questions. I didn't know about the PVT the first time so I viewed the results through the Ohio board which said closed after 24 hours. In Ohio, closed means failed. I took the exam again on Saturday after Thanksgiving and I has been a long journey. I did the PVT and got the good pop up but was still nervous. This time Pearson website showed the purchase option before the board of nursing so I just paid and got unofficial pass!

I just want to share that the PVT still works and it worked for me. I entered all my cc information correctly and received good pop up message.

Good luck to everyone and please go and sit for the exam right after school. That was my mistake; took me 4 months to rest which made me even rusty.

I tried right after i got home and it worked...

I took the test yesterday on 30th, I tried the PVT a few hours later and it worked. This morning I saw my license on the Board of Nursing. My NCLEX results are still not available yet, but does it matter? What do the results tell you, is it just pass/fail or does it tell how you did etc? I am expecting the 48hrs for quick results to be up tomorrow or by Monday but I am contemplating whether it is worth paying for the quick results.

I can attest to the PVT being alive and well in fall 2017 (at least in my case) from both ends of the spectrum. I took the NCLEX for the first time in September 2017 and tried the PVT 4hrs after my exam. My credit card was charged immediately and sure enough, 48hrs later I got the official failing result; considering I'd have to pay to take the test again, this didn't feel like a financial loss (more of an emotional one). I took NCLEX again in November 2017 and tried the PVT at 4, 12, and 36hours later; each time I got the good popup. By 48hrs (the website updated at exactly 9am EST), the results were posted and I passed :) There seems to be some confusion with the PVT based on previous years instructions, you need to hit submit on the credit card page, simply going to the credit card page is not enough. The good pop up will say, "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time" and the bad pop up will charge your card. Hope this helps and best wishes for all those waiting for their results!

Took NCLEX-PN today, 85 questions, 25 SATAs. Got the "good" pop-up. Really?!

I was prepared to stay for hours with snacks and chocolate-covered coffee beans and L-theanine.

Hard to believe I could pass those questions in only 85 questions! (Never got a dosage calculation?! Am I misremembering? I almost forgot how to spell my last name when they were checking my identity, and it's a simple last name. Stressed much?) My "exam results are not available at this time." Breathing slowly and deeply as I write this. Leaving for meditation group in five minutes.

Hi!

The PVT still works as of December 2017. I even typed in the wrong expiration date to see if it would give me the same pop-up and it did! So to those who are afraid of accidentally spending money on a "trick," just type in the wrong expiration date.

MY NCLEX (CA) TIMELINE:

> November 27, 2017 @ 8 AM: Exam day

> November 27, 2017 @ 9:30AM: Received an email that NCSBN received my exam

> November 30, 2017 @ 10AM: PVT and did it everyday until I received my letter

> December 6, 2017: Congratulations letter!
