I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
Same here! I took my NCLEX PN on Saturday, July 29th in CA. I didn't receive my confirmation email until this afternoon, but I've had the "good pop-up" everyday since I took my test. I'm hoping that CA doesn't take a whole 4-6 weeks to mail out our letters though, I don't want to fully get my hopes up until I see my results on paper.
I hope it doesn't take that long. My classmates got their license posted within 3 days of taking the NCLEX RN. Praying and hoping for the best at this time.
I wonder if there is any difference in processing times between the RN exams and the PN exams. A few of my classmates took it last month and got their letters between 1 and 2 weeks from taking the PN exam.
hey all.. I took my test(NCLEX-RN) second time on July 31 Monday @ 8 am. I got 263 questions and the research questions as well. as the computer stopped @ 263 I am freaking out. I am from CALIFORNIA and CA doesn't participate in quick results. I tried pvt trick after 24 hours and got good pop up but I don't wanna make my hopes higher until I get to see my license information on breeze account. I have been checking breeze account every now and then, does the pot trick still works? I am freaking out... any updates or idea are appreciated .. and good luck to all who appeared on test and are waiting for the official results. I hope we all make it. :)

Hi Zeenith, I'm also facing the same issues. I took the text on the 29th and I'm yet to get a result. From what I've heard about the PVT, it seems to work for 99.9% of the people who did the trick. I am praying everyday and trying to calm myself as I can't seem to stop doing the PVT and repeatedly getting the good pop-up since the 30th. I'm hoping for the best right now and I wish you the same.

hey Miston, thanks. I am afraid to do the pvt time and again hoping I might get a bad pop up next time. so I did it twice . 1st after 24 hrs and 2nd after 48 hrs. because I couldn't make it my first time. I am s afraid this time.. please keep posting if you get any update on your results. I really wish we beat this beast. :)

Hey..I am in New York State...has anyone been able to see their name on the Registry shortly after the test? If so, how soon? I took the exam this morning and I am NOT kidding that I don't think I passed. Shut off at 75...and at question #60, it gave me a "break" after only about 90 minutes. Does that mean anything?
No, there is no "meaning" to your break time. The computer isn't assessing your need for a break!
