Hey all!
I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
I have read at nursys.com that you can no longer use a invalid credit card? I tried changing my CCv but it said it was declined.it's been 5 days now and still don't see any update tru breeze.I took my exam last saturday 5/27 .I got 50 SATA's for the 205 questions..I feel so anxious.I took my exam in CA btw.
Hello all! I just wanted to share my experience of "the trick."
I took my NCLEX exam on June 2nd at 8 am. My test shut off at 75, and I was panicking. It seems my questions were not hard enough and I had felt as if I had failed. Did the trick about an hour later and i got the pop up that said another registration cannot be made at this time, which was supposedly the good pop up that told you that you passed. Well, this morning I received my unoffical results and I PASSED! The trick worked for me!!!
I took the test on June 2nd - 127 questions and 4 hours. I would say several SATA around 30 or more, a math question that I missed (1g=1mL) and many priority questions. It was brutal, you will feel like you failed. Worst nervous energy of my life. I received an email from Pearson about 7 hours later saying I completed the test and what to expect next then I did the PVT trick and to my surprise I got the "good pop up" You will get a message that says open registration right after the test and I have read that that is not the good pop up. The good pop says "The candidate currently has an open registration at this time. A new registration cannot be completed at this time." I read every website and determined that the PVT trick is real so I calmed down. I just checked my results and I passed! The PVT trick works 100% believe it. Good luck!
PVT still works! I took my nclex-RN exam last May 31 snd after 48hrs, quick result still not available so i tried the PVT and got the good pop up. Got my results after a few hours and I passed. The exam was exhausting, finished at 265 for 6hrs! My last 5 questions were SATA and prio so i was a bit confident that I'll make it. You just need to pray really hard and stay focus during the exam. Good luck to all who are about to take he exam. You can do it!

I took the nclex today in NC and I ended with 119 questions. I got to my car and have been balling since. Felt like I failed miserably. I felt as though I guessed on soooo many. I didn't have that many SATA....maybe 20 but a lot of prioritization and which shows teaching was effective and which shows teaching was not effective. I have heard about the trick but have been skeptical. I finished at 3:45 this afternoon and at 7:30 this evening I tried the trick. I tried putting my expiration date in wrong and then 45 minutes later I put the expiration date in correctly and both times it said that I have recently registered and was unable to do so again. please tell me that I have actually passed. I'm still freaking out. I guess I should calm down since I have read over 21 pages of people reporting that it worked but I need some reassurance. Now that I have a glimmer of hope and had zero hope after the test that I had passed, getting the results and seeing that I failed after I tried this trick and got my hopes up will be 100 times worse.
