Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I live in Cali and they mail the results so it take 4-6 weeks. That is just too long. Well i took the test and the computer shut off at 75 questions. I thought either i suck really bad or I passed. I followed the Pearson Vue trick and check Wed, Thur, Fri, and Sat.And it said the message it couldn't register me at this time. Saturday night I went to the state's web site to verify permeate license and typed in my name and it came up with my name, RN, and RN number so from what I know these "tricks" work. Good Luck everybody!!!

mannnn, i'm dying here lol! my 2nd post after taking my nclex-pn on 7/27 and it's been 5 days already. since then, i've been checking PVT almost everyday to ease my anxiety a bit through this waiting game... 3-4 weeks, wow!!! (i'm from cali) whenever i go to the PVT, i'm still getting the same thing... the "our records indicate that you have recently....".

i wanna be excited from all the good comments about the trick, in fact i am... from time to time, then realizing that it's not official but still gives me hope, atleast for a couple of hours then back to doubting myself once again. it's a roller coaster ride here, sorry, i'm just super anxious! =D

please let me know.Thanks.

If you take the time to read the thread as well as the first thread you will see foreign trained nurses get the same as US trained.

I sat to take my NCLEX at 8.00am and finsihed at about 9.30am after 75 questions. Just tried the PVT and I got the good pop-up! I have a friend that did the trick, got the good popup and passed, then I have one that got the bad popup and failed...... I'm hopeful that I passed so I'm doing the happy dance!!!!!

:yeah:

I'm going to vote after I get the "official" results!

Just paid for my quick results! PASS!!!!! The Pearson Trick does work!

Hi all. I want to share with my experience. I came to USA and tried to take NCLEX-RN for 3 times as a foreign nurse. I didn't pass. First time I had 75 Q, second time I had 114 Q, and third time I had 265Q. Then I decided to go to Nursing School (New York). I graduated this year (BSN). I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday July 31, I got 75 Q. I had 9 SATA, 1math, and test looked pretty tough. I came home and i tried this trick, i went all to credit card and i even registered already. All these years of study at school, I took Kaplan, i read all book. I was getting 67 on Question training #6 and #7. On Q-bank- i was getting 58-up to 75. I have no idea why i didn't pass. I don't have official result yet, but i do believe in this trick, because i tried other 3 times before and i knew i fail. Now i am so upset, and don't know what and how to study anymore. I think i am just not lucky. I wish nobody go this hard and long way of study as i did, and it is not even finish :( I feel like crying. Any one has an idea how to start study again. If i have any chance to pass this test.
