Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Hi everyone. Yes like most people who take the NCLEX RN and can't get their results via quick results, I'm freaking out. Took it yesterday(Saturday) and tried the pearson vue trick and got the "good pop up" saying I should contact my State Board of Nursing. Has the Pearson vue trick come true for anyone who took their NCLEX RN on the weekend(Saturday). And does it work for all states? It sucks that Viginia doesn't do the Quick Results option. Please someone reply and ease my anxiety.Thanks...

I did the PVT and it really works! I got done with NCLEX around 10 am, tried the PVT around 12:30 p.m the same day and I got the good pop up! I checked like 5 times a day to make sure the pop up didn't change until I got my quick results lol. I must say it really helps to calm the nerves until you get your quick results. I was actually more scared to do the PVT than I was to get my quick results because according to everyone on this site the PVT seemed to be legit.
OK - just got done taking NCLEX-RN. Hardest exam I have ever taken. Got the good pop-up, but still scared to death. I believed in the 'good pop-up" until today!!Freaking out....
I've said this before, but:
The NCLEX is supposed to be hard. It is structured in such a way that you keep getting more difficult questions until you start getting them wrong. So by the end of the exam, you have answered maybe 40-50% of the questions wrong. But how many questions you get right doesn't matter. What matters is the average difficulty of the questions you are getting right.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I know this in my heart - it just doesn't seem possible. I'll take it and run with it though!:redbeathe
