Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

thanks..imjustworried aboutmy results..=(

Hi everyone, I took my NCLEX-RN today and under status it says ready for delivery. I still tried the pearson trick and I got a pop up. Does this mean I passed or do I still need to wait?

Bettina, I just took my NCLEX-RN on Friday, March 11th in San Dimas, CA and it just posted my name on the BRN site today, sometime around 4am (my friend saw it and texted me). :yeah:So for me it took 3 business days. It varies I think. Most of my classmates waited 2 or 3 business days for theirs as well.

Good luck! Think positive!!

Depends on what your pop-up said. If it said something about needing to contact your BON, it means you passed. It could also say your results are on hold, in which case you won't know until you can get Quick Results or your name shows up on your BON.

You need to wait until it says "delivery successful." Then try the PVT and hopefully you'll get the pop-up. "Ready for delivery" means it hasn't been processed yet...if you try the PVT then, a pop-up will come up, but not the right one. Good luck!

Hi Bettina,

Just like you....I'm still waiting.

I read on the blogs that if you don't have a SSN, the Boards will never have your name on the list. I emailed them the necessary info and they got back to me with "Your record has been updated."

Let's keep on waiting for the GOOD result.

i know this post of mine may sound silly but i just want to ask about the pearson vue trick for the last time. how come in the instructions that where posted here, it says something about reregistering for a new account becasue you haveto go back to the pearson vue website and click on the register link? because what im doing is..im just trying to sign back in using my username and my password. and my status says delivery successful and im getting the 'good pop-up".. so am i really doing the right thing here?or should i make a new account again and reregister and try the pearson vue trick??? pls anyone?:confused:
