Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I emailed my state of BON yesturday, stating that everyone I know who took same day test got their name on BON except me, they put up my name within half an hour after I emailed, I didn't know if I passed or not, but stated like I did, I was trusting PVT, worked for me, try, each BON has their email. You passed I am sure!!!!:yelclap::anpom::hpygrp::ancong!:

thanks, ill try to email them now, hope it works for me.. when did u take the test?

I took my test last Thursdays the 17th, I think they take their time, but in email they told me that they are allowed to not post for upto 5 bussiness days and monday was a holiday, so you can count up to six if you took it last week. and then, they mail license by mail 15 days from test date. so dont worry if you getting pvt a good pop up i promise you, you are RN. Just email and you know i did include my info in email, such as ssn, dob and name, so it will give them a faster search, but yeah they posted in about half an hour. Congrads, I am sure you made it.:yeah::yeah::yeah::ancong!::hpygrp:

I guess I did not pass I got the bad pop up and only had 75Q I cant stop crying was my 3rd time.

Just finished my PN exam and got the cut off @ 85. Tried the trick no cc info needed, so hopefully the trick works for me as well..Honestly I feel pretty confident about the exam. :yeah:

Yes they did reply to my mail, right away I would say and then I saw my name. Dont worry, I am sure you passed. MA is the state of my BRN. They will email you back, but to tell you the truth they will post when ever they will like, thats is what I realized if you email to them it will be faster, but even from my state people that passed some took test week ago and still dont have their license posted and they passed they got quick results, others took it this week and already got their name up, so I am not sure what controls who they post and when ...I know how you feel, but dont worry PVT worked then you are all set. Just wait for them to post your name after they reply to ur email. Good luck!!!:nurse:

I just took the NCLEX RN Exam today. It cut off at 93 questions. I didn't feel very well about it when I left, much worse then I felt about my LPN boards. I tried the trick and it gives me the "good pop up". It worked for me for my LPN boards, but I also shut off at 85 and felt decent about my outcome. This time, I'm not feeling so confident. I studied long and hard for this test, really hoping I don't have to start over!

So if you dont get the "good pop up" and it goes straight to the credit card, you definitely failed!? or is there still some glimmer of hope out there... :)
