Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

The trick works for me!! After waiting for 13 days, I saw my name on the BRN website.. Thank you!!

So, I took my NCLEX today and I got 75 questions and I absoultey believe I failed. I felt like my questions overall were easy and I know I got easy questions wrong. I went to person vue and did the trick and I got the "good result". I can't find out until friday if i passed. What are your thoughts? I'm having a panic attack.

I took my NCLEX about two weeks ago. I felt exactly the same like you. I just found out I passed!! So, that PVT works!

I was hoping maybe some you guys could help me cause i am confused about this NCLEX and when its the right time to take it.

Right now I am taking my pre-reqs (science courses), i already have a BS in Sociology. Can i take the NCLEX now or do i have to wait?

I took the LPN NCLEX in Nov 2010 on a Thursday, checked the state licensure on Monday and it was there. I know that's 4 days, but it's a sure way to know.

did anyone take it today? I thought it was pretty tough.. Done in 1.5 hrs. Kind of has me worried. I don;'t feel good about it at all. I think i did about 130 q's. Anyone else? Advice for 2nd time?

75 Q's. Bad gut feeling. Good popup. I shall see...

And FL BON confirms that I passed. One of three conclusions:

1. This is one hell of a coincidence.

2. The data supporting the PVT is skewed as allnurses.com readers are at a skill level to pass the NCLEX in overwhelming numbers.

3. PVT actually DOES work.

My pick: 4. Who cares? Passing is passing! :rckn:

Also...tip for FL nurses...the state BON turnaround is only two working days, so no need to waste lunch money on paying Pearsonvue for the quickie results.

yep that's how i was able to find my results to start studying again for the second time again.

Definitely not this one. The PVT numbers posted in this poll are similar to the pass rates nationally. It was one of my mantras when my classmates would freak out about NCLEX, "89% of ADN grads pass the test on the first try." I didn't tell them when the number dropped to 86% with the new test methodology. We were about to graduate at that point and it would have been demoralizing.

https://www.ncsbn.org/1237.htm if you want to check the numbers yourself.

The PV trick really does work! I was so nervous and thought I failed but I got my 48hr quick results today and I passed! Good luck to everyone else!!

I am a wreck. This is my second attempt at an RN license. I am an LPN who freaked out the first try and took the full 265. I was not prepared and defeated before i walked in the door. This time I was confident, studied like no tomorrow and really walked out of the facility (after about 100 questions) feeling good. I can't do the PVT due to the fact that my results say "ready for delivery". What does that really mean. Pearson vue said they just havent sent them in yet and wait till the end of the day. New license post here at 4....its 325. I'm a wreck and the woman on the phone sounded suspect! I hope I passed I can't take this test again. I was ready for this test this time and am not studying like that again! My neck has a permenent creak in it i think LOL I call it my nclex arthritis!!!! Can anyone ease my mind about this? I would appreciate it!
