Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Hi everyone! I just graduated from Wayne State's accelerated nursing program in December 2010. I took the NCLEX on Thursday, Feb. 3rd and got 130 questions and it shut off.
I tried the PVT and the good pop up came up. I just paid the early fee and I passed!!
The trick works! Good luck everyone.
Hi! I just took the NCLEX yesterday and i'm freaking out! I had all 265 questions and tried doing the pvt trick. . . First it was pending, and about an hour ago, it was the "good" one. . . . Really?! how accurate is it for hawaii?I need a little reassurance. . . .
Thanks!
can you not look up your license on your state's DOH website? we can do that with ours without having to pay PVT the money because once you passed your license will be activated and will be published on the state DOH.
I took my NCLEX-RN on Feb. 3rd. I finished with 101 questions. I had a lot of SATA and one math question. I felt like I knew nothing when I walked out of the building. I tried the trick a billion times and got the good pop up each time. On the 5th I paid the fee and found out I PASSED! Finally a RN!
The trick worked for every single person in my class...I'm pretty sure it really works! Congrats to all that have passed!

Because you are asking about the PVT I am merging with existing thread for continuity

RNbrent ~ thank you! Before I started my exam, I said a prayer...when I got to number 76, I kept thinking, the next question will be my last...I have never been so scared and nervous in my life! I left the testing center with the thought that I knew what to expect the next time...my other friends said that their exams ended at 75....ugh! I checked again online for my official results, still not ready, but the "good" pop up is still there....call my crazy, but i can't settle, until it's official....so surreal!
