Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
OMG, I hope this trick is true. i got a good pop up after 2 hrs taking it...
the questions were so hard, i think harder than kaplan! my computer stopped at 80+ questions, i prayed several times during the exam, cuz most of questions i eliminated two, and i was so confused about the rest of two.when i did up to 75, and clicked on the buttun, i just wanted it to be finished, because i felt so bad, it's like i took guess on every questions except for the first one. i had lots of priority questions, infection control, one med. calculate and only few 6 or 7 SATAs, this was the most scary to me, becasue the more u encouter, the more chance u pass. it took me almost 2 hrs to finish 75 questions. but it didn't stop, when i did around 80 questions, the computer popped up with sth, my brain went blank, it asked suggests me to take a break! i thought maybe because i did so bad in previous questions, so the comp. warned me to refresh myself----so i finished with 80+questions. i came out of the building with my best friend, we took it together. i felt like i wanna cry so much, the most terrible feeling ever in my life. we were so hypoxic and frustrated that we even took the wrong train! and my facial expression look so aweful, and there's a guy in the train kept looking at me like i'm crazy or may i'm just released from psych. hospital or something!!! my hands were trebling when i tried the trick,] when i was home, but it popped up to be good, i relieved a little bit. so does my friend's. well, i'll know the official result on sunday though, praying---
I AM AN RN as of SEPT 3rd, 2010!!!!!
PVT trick worked for me! What an awesome tool!
I took my test on SEPT 1st 10:00am was out in about an
hour with 75 Q!
I went straight to an Internet Cafe to check the PVT! IT was the
'good-pop up'!!!! I was SO happy!
I checked the 'Quick Result' after 48hrs via the Pearson view website and it
said 'PASSED'!!!!!!!
SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!
PVT rules!....it gives you POM -Peace of Mind ;-)
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!
THE PVT WORKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took my nclex pn on 8/28/10. I felt as though i did horrible with those questions. I live in louisiana, we dont have quick results for PN. While searching the net that day I came across the subject of the PVT here. I had never even heard of this. So, I tried it. Got the good pop up that day. That still was not good enough for me. I have been reading post here for the past week to see if it was true. ( I read all even the ones from a year ago). I guess it just gave me some comfort. Well its official as of this morning when my license came it says I'm an LPN. Congrats to all who have made it. I wish all good luck as we go forth to now get our first nursing jobs.
I am new to this forum, so I don't quite know yet how to actually "post" my own entry rather than reply! Well, I'm in Cali, and took my NCLEX on Thursday Sept. 2nd, since this coming weekend is a holiday i'm assuming I won't be able to check my boards website till Tue or Wed. I got shut off at 77 questions......which really threw me off........77 questions?????? That seemed odd to me....well I tried to PVT and I got the "good" pop-up, so......hoping I get confirmation with good results! (HATE WAITING!!!)
