Pearson Trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi all!

i just took my RN Nclex and I only got 75 questions. I even got the last question correct. I took the trick all the way n it charged me the 200 to reschedule. I only did it bc I felt confident I passed... Anyone know of anyone whose done the same and still passed?? Needing some positive feedback here... 😔

Well for me it worked I did not pass. I was ok gambling with 200$ I had a couple of days to prepare myself for the news and it wasn't that bad. Already have a plan for next time.

Did the same thing happen?? I already got my next ATT... But my results still aren't in.,

Yes I got my ATT yesterday and my results were ready today.

So are u saying you have to retake?

I took the exam yesterday and tried the trick about 26 hours after my completion time. I got a message that said "...Another registration can be made at this time."

Bhasse08 Please keep us updated. I'm wondering if you did pass, will you be able to get a refund.

LTermnurse, sorry about your results.

Have other people tried the trick and been charged $200 who actually passed the test?

One of my classmates ended up making a $200 donation to Pearson because she tried this trick and had actually passed the NCLEX. Pearson does not issue refunds, per their TOS.

Specializes in Complex pedi to LTC/SA & now a manager.

From what I hear the people that "donate" the money is because their score changes on the second time the test gets scored (this is a very small percentage of people). I had done some research in advance and decided I wanted to take the risk. For me sadly it worked. If I had passed it would have been an amazing surprise and I would have not cared about the 200$. Overall I'm glad I did it as it prepared me for the negative results.

I found out that I did pass, so for me, the Pearson Vue Trick worked. YMMV

im still waiting for my results too. took the exam december 16, 2015 and til now still no results. tried the pearson vue today january 4, 2016 and what appeared was " Our records indicate that you blah blah blah" which they say is the good pop-up. praying that I passed my exam. anxiously waiting for the results it's almost been 3 weeks.

Hi all,

I would like to share my experience after taking the Nclex on Jan 6, 2016. This is not my first time taking the test, so I had tried the Pearson Vue trick many times. My test was on Jan 6, 2016 at 8 am in Pennsylvania. I finished the test with 265 questions after 5 hours and a half. Had about 40 SATA, 35 (see who FIRST) and a bunch of priority/contact precautions questions. Most of the questions was really hard, even after I eliminated the other choices, I wasn't satisfied with the final answer, but I chose it since it was the best answer. I noticed that they asked me the same questions, but just changed the wording around, so I chose a different answers assuming that I got the first one wrong.

Anyway, I finished the test around 1:40 pm, and tried the Pearson trick at around 4:00 pm, and yes, I input my valid credit card, but with the wrong expiration date, so even if I failed, they will not be able to charge me. Instead, to my surprise, I got the RED triangle, saying that I "Our records indicates that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

I was so happy and excited, knowing that this is a good pop-up because based on my past failures with the nclex they took my $200 or tell me the card is invalid if I failed. In the past, the PA board of nursing usually post your license the next morning. So, I waited till the next day (Thursday) and check my license. I checked at 8am, 8:15am, 9 am, you get the point till 1:00 pm, and felt despair...maybe the computer made a mistake and I didn't passed. I proceed to registered for my Nclex again, and I still get the good pop-up, but my license still hasn't been posted on BON.

For the next 48 hours before I can check for my quick results, I constantly check the BON for my license, but nothing. I became depressed and believed that I didn't passed. Finally on Friday, at 10 am, my quick results is available, before I decided to pay for it, I checked one more time on BON for my license...nothing. I input my credit information, and took a deep breath, hit submit, and close my eyes for a few seconds, before I looked at the screen. To my relief, the unofficial results said, "PASS." I almost died out of joy and relief. Called my husband about the news and even took a picture of the results and texted to him.

I later called the PA BON of nursing of the situation and asked how long does it takes the BON to post my license as I needed it to take my classes to finish my BSN degree. The operator told me they have up to 30 days to post the license number. I then told if she can check my file by giving her my SSN making sure nothing is missing (transcripts, 30 hours child abuse class, etc), and my file was cleaned. I will just have to wait. She didn't tell me I passed or fail.

To wrap this up, the Pearson VUe trick does WORK, I can attest to this. I took this test many times, and when I failed, they took my money or told me the card is invalid. This time, I got the good pop-up and I PASSED. Good luck to all future test takers.
