Pearson Trick

Hi all!

i just took my RN Nclex and I only got 75 questions. I even got the last question correct. I took the trick all the way n it charged me the 200 to reschedule. I only did it bc I felt confident I passed... Anyone know of anyone whose done the same and still passed?? Needing some positive feedback here... 😔

Possibly the fact that you used some sort of "trick" (???) to try to pass your licensing exam?

Moved to NCLEX

do you mean the trick where you try to register for the nclex again and if it lets you you supposedly failed if it doesnt you passed......if so pearson fixed their sytem so everyone can reregister regardless of if you passed or failed. That "trick" no longer works. However chances are if it cut off at 75 you passed. Mine cut of at 75 and I did, and everyone else that I know that cut off at 75 passed. Good luck to you I wish you the best.

I dont think she used a trick taking it its a trick that people use to try and find out if they passed it sooner but t no longer works.

The Pearson trick that is to see if you passed.

Thanks. I'm really hoping so. I still can apply for quick results.... I'm so impatient

You just donated $200 to Pearson which either prepaid your next test registration or is lost per the ToS agreed to when clicking agree/accept twice.

Answering the last question correctly is not indicative of pass or fail.

Attempting to reregister for the exam within the first 24 hours before the quality control scoring is done increases the likelihood of a false result. Impatience can be expensive.

The registration glitch/"trick" is an expensive equivalent to asking a magic 8 ball with similar accuracy in recent months.

There are two ways to get accurate pass/fail results: paid quick results or direct from the BoN once processed

Please let me know if you passed. I'm in the same boat.

December 2015 grad here--two people in my class took NCLEX yesterday and did the Pearson Vue "trick" immediately upon leaving the testing center. They say they got the "good" pop-up...and one of them has decided to start calling herself RN already.

I only know this because they've posted all about it on our class Facebook page.

Sigh.

When I take my NCLEX (three weeks and counting), I will wait the appropriate number of days and pay for quick results.

The odds are on my classmates' side since our program has a first-time NCLEX pass rate in the high 90th percentile. But I would be cautious about (publicly) putting the cart before the horse.

Well for me it worked I did not pass. I was ok gambling with 200$ I had a couple of days to prepare myself for the news and it wasn't that bad. Already have a plan for next time.
