I created this thread for those applying to Spring 2015 LW Nursing. I am a returning student starting a second career. I have 4 prerequisites left that I am taking this summer. I also am taking the Critical Thinking class for a point. I took the Hesi last week to see how I would do and got an 85. I will have about 27 points for my app so not sure if I will take Hesi again. Just like before they will take the 90 people with the highest points. Nervous too. I'm at about 26 points and retaking Hesi Monday to get one more point.

Little confused with the HESI points. It says....

95-100 = 10 points

90-95 = 9 points

85-90 = 8 points

80-85 = 7 points

75-80 = 5 points

So, is it 9 or 8 points for a 90?

The application I printed out shows 91-95 gets 9 points. Since everybody lost 2 points, I just subtracted that from the previous years scores....now I'm just deciding whether or not to retake the hesi. My points stand at 27.24 and I'm applying to part time.

Yep, I see that it has been updated. Now it says:

96-100 = 10 points

91-95 = 9 points

86-90 = 8 points

80-85 = 7 points

75-79 = 5 points

Well, with that scale, I am down to 27.9 points....missing the full 10 points by .57%. Ugh. Not sure if I really want to retake the HESI though. I am not applying until next spring, though, so we'll see how I feel then.

@JessicaEngle- that's great! I know 3 others that will be applying to BG as well. Seems like there will be a bit of competition;) But I hope we all get in!

Do they usually fill their spots up? I heard from someone they don't.

There have been a couple of years they have. But it would be nice if we all got in so we could carpool. Two of the other girls live close to that loooooong road before you drive into the BG area, so carpooling would be nice.
