Hey everyone! I see there are a bunch of people on the fall 2017 applicant page so I figured I would start the next one up. This thread is for everyone to ask questions and discuss the application to the program.

I'll start by asking, does anyone know if there will be any more information sessions before the October 1st deadline besides the July 19th session?

If you have a 2.5 gpa you get 2.5 points, 3.7 points if your gpa is 3.7 and so on. So you'd only get 4 points if your gpa is 4.0.

Has anyone's limited access application been updated on their pantherweb?

No, it won't update for another 2 weeks most likely. They have one woman processing applications so it'll take a while. I believe they update a day or two before decisions and we get an email giving us time to say if anything is incorrect.

No. And I heard that no ones will update until about a day or two before we actually find out.

For the fall class my friend's limited access application was being worked on and updated for over a week before they let anyone know and they didn't let everyone know at once. They wait to see how many acceptances there were and then took some more people who turned them down. Also, they don't always update all the limited access applications on everyone's patherweb. It's been 3 weeks and I am getting twitchy! Maybe Monday...

They updated my limited access application today and posted my points! I turned in my application the day after it was posted. They also sent out an email saying decisions will be made by November 13th!

No, not everyone. In the Facebook group for spring 2018 applicants, most people did not get it yet.
