PBSC Nursing Spring 2018

Published

Hey everyone! I see there are a bunch of people on the fall 2017 applicant page so I figured I would start the next one up. This thread is for everyone to ask questions and discuss the application to the program.

Good luck everyone!

I'll start by asking, does anyone know if there will be any more information sessions before the October 1st deadline besides the July 19th session?

What do you mean rounded up?

apparently people who were close to the next point for hesi points were rounded up which gave them an extra point. They switched that so that the hesi scores were not rounded up. I applied to lake worth part time with 23.29. They only take 30 students though, so I am kind of worried!

Thanks! I wish they would send out letters already

Well, I am only at 23.11, so, there's one person for sure that you will get in before... ME! ;) LOL!

Good luck! Still nothing in my in box...

if anyone hears anything, please post. Best of luck to all!

I hope we both get in!! I've been stalking this page to see if anyone has heard anything lol good luck to all :)

Me too! In the fall they held out an acceptance date, but it took them 2 weeks after that to let people know. I thought for sure they would stick to this date since school begins 1st week of Jan. and there are the holidays right before. People have to make financial and life arrangements...

Did anyone get a e-mail yet?... i still didn't get anything.

I received an email stating they are processing almost 300 apps and we should know by 11am tomorrow

I got the same email about 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday 11/15) being the notification day/time.

amos25 are you taking Nurs Pharm currently at PBSC? You are the only other person I am aware of that is appying for the P/T program.

I am applying for part time program as well! I am not currently taking Nur Pharm (Nur1141) are you?

Suzie-Q I'm actually applying for the F/T program in Lake Worth :) and yes I'm taking Pharm

amos25 you have the same "picture" as lls123 and I got you two confused! Sorry! lls123 what are your points? Yes I am taking nur pharm now. It's not hard it is just time consuming in a nuclear kind of way ;). I work f/t and have kids (alone), so, I was just trying to get a jump on the coursework and Prof. Urresta advised taking this before you start if you can.
