PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

Just took procalc and got 100% :) its not bad at all. There is a site on the nursing FAQ page that is great for practicing!!

Hey just wanted to know if there were any stoichiometry or molarity problems in chem for anyone that took the hesi already.

Hi everyone! I am applying for the Fall 2012 start date also, I've already taken the procalc and Hesi, didn't do as good on the Hesi as I would have liked (probably because I was 9 months pregnant and sleep deprived lol) but I am going to apply anyway

No spots left in either Pharmacology course or Critical Thinking in Nursing. :( I'm not surprised though. I'll be stalking the registration website! haha.

Does anyone know about taking some of the nursing classes online? How are they like? Is it the same? Just wondering this if I do get in I might take some courses online, I have a small child at home and work part time and it is difficult as it is. I know we are not in yet, but does anyone know someone who has taken online nursing classes @ PBSC? I have taken courses online and I like it for the most part but Im guessing nursing will be much different.

They should open up last min when people get dropped or drop the course. Thats what happens most of the time. I got so mad at myself because I forgot my date to register and as soon as I remembered I got online and the only pharm class was the 2 credit one, online version. I took it to get it out of the way but really wanted the 3 credit in person course. :banghead:
