PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

I'm surprised to hear a lot of people didn't pass the HESI :(

@mkerns i'm sure you'll be fine with those points! Think positive :)

I know I am surprised alot of people were having a hard time with the hesi too.. I didn't think it was too hard and honestly was expecting it to be a lot worse then what it was!! So the deadline is June 1st.. when do you think we will hear back if we get accepted or not?

3 weeks supposively

What will your job be in the hospital?

I think I may have gotten a cna position at the hospital! Im super excited and hope I get the job!!

Omg that's great! Congrats girl!

lol you guys are making me more nervous!! My points will be around 25.7.. But if I don't get in this semester I hopefully should for next because I start working in the hospital in the next few weeks so it will give me that extra point. There was nothing I could do better as far as this sign up.. I have a 3.7 gpa and the 8 points on the hesi but no health care point or critical thinking for nursing...
For last semester I missed out by a tenth of a point!!!! :( you have more points than I did, I'm almost certain you'll be fine!! I took the hesi for the 2nd time, just last week.I did a lot better than the first time! most likely because I had a colicky 1 month old and was completely sleep deprived back in September. I'm still sleep deprived with a teething, extremely hyper 8 month old.. ANYWAYS ;) If anyone needs any helpful hints on the hesi, I'll gladly post what I can remember!

I feel your pain mjmommy23! I got a 91.12 on the Hesi and am so upset about not getting the ten points! It makes a huge difference. I am looking at a 26.78 instead of a 28.78 and am so nervous now about getting accepted.

It said on evolve that the class average for the hesi was 76 so I hope that's accurate..

I saw that on the hesi average too! I thought it meant just the class that day? Do you think it is an overall average?

Oh I dont know. I thought it was overall but im not sure.. If it says 76 on everybodys then it should be the overall average.... I hope..... lol
