PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

That's so messed up to get an A and still not get 10 points. That's not fair. But yea i have the evolve book and Ive been using anatomy notes online and quizlet and stuff. I'm just worried about how in depth the questions will be. Were anatomy/chem the hardest sections? Does evolve have enough info on bio and chem? because it didn't seem like that much in it only a couple pages..

Yes all the sciences were hard. I think the book did a pretty good job though.

wow the app is posted this is becoming more and more real lol.. I took my cna exam today and someone there was a 1st year rn student at pbsc and man did she look stressed to the max!! Im soo nervous!

Michelle, I have taken HESI's Anatomy and Physiology section and it wasn't as hard as I expected but I did use my textbooks, notes, and those online quizlets to practice. It seems like you are doing the same so you should be fine with that.

Hey everyone!!

I'm a Fall 2012 hopeful too, this is my first time at PBSC because I did FAU all before. I'm taking my HESI April 20th, so nervous!!!! Does anyone remember specific science questions, specifically the Anatomy part?

I'm a fall hopeful too, I'm at 27.3. For Hesi anatomy and chemi and bio. its really all in your HESI book you have to UNDERSTAND IT. not just mesmorize.I youtubed anything I didn't get.

Shepata, yea that's really good advice I've been going on YouTube for like cellular respiration and stuff. You should be good to go with 27 points Irishblonde, good luck studying! I take it 4 days after u lol. Im really nervous about science too.. smh..

You guys are going to do fine :) Don't stress out too much over that test. I realized I wont be turning in my app until after this semester is over and grades are posted. Anyone else waiting for that? I am praying that no one has an outrageous amount of points so that all of us will get in! Who is taking Pharmacology during the Summer. I will be if I can snag a spot. Sunday I will be waiting until midnight to enroll in classes :) SUPER EXCITED to keep this process going.

Thanx! I hope so. Hopefully Ill take pharm over the summer too if I can get a spot. I was going to do like you and try to get into critical thinking just in case, but I know that class fills up quickly...

It does! What is your registration date? I can't wait until sunday night. I really need to find a sitter or some kind of day care. I normally take classes at night.

Ughh...this is the first time mine is before and its because I applied for graduation. Thank god. Maybe it will be open though. Who knows. Good luck.
