PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

hey thunter whats up! yea im feeling much better now even though today i have a splitting headache. Glad to see you voted...cool.

i have some good news for regarding school ..check your inbox.

does anyone knows when they are giving the NLN again and whats the cost. anytips to study for it will be great also. thank you

I believe its every 6months... so probably feb or march, its probably the same amount of mula as before, I dont think theres a discount for retaking it, maybe you can find some info on the website www.nln.org or call the school. sorry about your headache

I also think you can take it at indian river community college.. you get the results right away, if I recall correctly...

mystical, i have never taken it before. do you take it at the school or do you have to go some special testing center?

Im sorry, I just assumed you had already taken it... you can call the school to ask them when the next test date is, if they know yet... it was 75 bucks, you can take it at any school that offers it... if you take it through pbcc its at lakeworth.. 3 hours, not enough time.. vocab, reading comprehension, math, sciences... that I did bad on(I had alot of physics).. get the book you can get it at barnes and nobles its the nclex pre rn enterence exam, I wish I still had it, I already gave it away.. thats a good study guide.. it takes about 2 weeks to get results

I just checked the site and there are no dates as of yet!!!

2bnurse-1 here is the web site to register and after you register you can look and see if they have any dates yet available. If you register for the PBCC test you take it on a saturday at Lake Worth campus. It takes about 4 hours. I looked at the web site a coup;e of weeks ago before I knew I was accepted and the only test available was in Pensacola. I like taking the test on paper better than the computer but thats my opinion. Get the practice NLN book like mystical0217 said. Keep checking the web site because once they post the openings the seats go fast.

Thanks for the info you sent.
