PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

2BNURSE1,

I looked at the attachment and alot of it was unfamiliar. I took micro in BellGlade and he gave us our test off of our notes. I could try to answer a few if that would help. When is your test

thunter

Yes I live in Wellington. Sorry it took so long to respond.

Hopefully we will get our letter tomorrow for futher instructions:-)

I heard the last class that got in didn't get they packet until two weeks after denials were sent out. I think ours will be in an email so maybe we will get sooner. You can go to the nursing program website and look at the handbook and it tells you pretty much everything about what we need to do except for the dates. I looked at the medical exam, shots, drug screen and criminal back ground check, be prepared its around $400.00 and I believe we have to go to there clinic. I called and they said Insurance doesnt cover it.....That sucks!!!!!!!

that does suck

geez!!!!

Well it's still cheaper than going to FAU or Keiser:-)

The program only costs $5,900, and I think that covers books.

PM me for my email, especially those who want to stay in touch throughout the nursing program.

smallz, thunter and anyone else that got in the program. you should look into the workforce alliance program. they will pay for your nursing career all you have to do is show them your acceptance letter and few small paper work. they will even pay for your state boards, give you a monthly cash allowance for gas & food. believe me they dont let you jump thru hell to get their funds within a weeks time all the paperwork will be done (2 weeks max).

when you call say you want to speak to someone in obtaining a sponsorship for pbcc.
