Hi everyone,
I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.
I read on line that this school works on a point system
I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program
(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO
WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.
Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.
Thanks
kinda off the topic ...Micro class

I tried to open your attachment but was unable to. I am taking micro now. What I usually do is do a Google image search on the bacteria. Then I print the pictures...small enough to fit on a note card. I write the name of the organism on the other side of the card. That way I can study by first looking at the name and then trying to remember the picture of the organism, or vice versa. Sorry I can't help you more...I just can't seem to open the attch for some reason.
Congratulations to everyone who made it in! To those of you who didn't I'm sorry I'm sure you will make it in the next go round. Hearing how close some of you were is so scary. I am starting my first semester and I was told that the points are going to keep going up because alot of people are going into the program that already have Masters degree. Has anyone else heard this. It just makes me a little concern because I feel like I need all A's to stay on top.
I am sure the points will continue to climb. It is getting more and more competitive. Although there may be some who apply with master's degrees, I am sure there will still be more than enough spaces for those who don't. Also, while your GPA must be at least a 2.5 to get in the program, it is a very small percentage of your total points. For instance, if you have a 3.68, then you get 3.68 points. Obviously higher the GPA the better but don't stress it too much. You prereqs are the most important. Get as many done as possible BEFORE you apply.
