PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

sorry, didnt know I said anything wrong.. dont mean to offend anyone

I didn't get accepted BUT I didn't get a denial letter either. I am hoping I get in b/c I have 24.50 points. The cut off, from my understanding, is 18.87 points. We will hopefully know shortly now:-)

Good luck to all!

Daaaaag, mystical and diver I'm sorry to hear that. But like everyone keeps saying don't give up!

Good luck to all who are still waiting to hear.

Smallz you're in right!? You had like 24 something points. I remember from an earlier post of yours.

:yeah:

hey y'all:

I am just a slow typist, plus I am at work.

Sorry for the delay.

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather.

Anything yet from you guys?

smallz,

I didnt apply to Pbcc. I applied to BCC. the deadline just passed (Oct 24th) so we have to wait about 2 or so weeks.

plan B, if i dont get accepted is to take the NLN and pro calc and apply to Pbcc and also apply at my current expensive school (south university).

is the pro calc challenging. i went on the website and look at the practice questions i was like HOLY COW!!!

Sorry for the delay.

Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather.

this mrng was FREEZING!!! i got 2 panties on (dont laugh) wife beater and my blouse, leggings and my work pants. i am so not a cold weather person i like it hot anything above 80 im good.

i hope this weather only lasts a day or two cause my body does not function well in this ice weather. i dont know how some ppl live in below zero weather. different strokes differnt folks i guess.

anyone bundled up this mrng like me??

2bnurse:

Oh didn't know you applied to BCC. Good luck:-). The procalc is very easy n I'm not a math/chem wizard. There is a $15 book you can buy at the book store, which I recomend. The procalc costs $5 to take and you can tale the test once everday for several months,if need be, until you pass.(which won't be the case)

Plus it's a good idea to buy the book for the nursing program anyway, you will need to know conversions.

I kind of like the "cold" weather. I am originally from PA so this is nothing.

N yes, I did laugh when u said u had to put on all your didn't layers!:-) a reluctant sorry, hehe.
