midwest (iowa)....i started out at $17.96 an hour, 10% diff from 3p to 7p and 15% diff from 7p to 7a during the week. on weekends the day diff is 10%, 3p to 7p 15% diff, and 7p to 7a 21% diff.

I work in philadelphia pennsylvania and our base rate is $26 and 2.33 for shift diff from 3-11 and 4.66 shift diff from 11-7 I work part-time 7pm-7am. The pay is good compared to most places.

Here in S. Cal where I work as a new nurse my base pay is 21.45. With a 12 hour shift I get time and a half for the last 4 hours. They add it together and come up with a standard rate of pay of 26.45 an hour. Plus for nights its an extra $4.00. So for 7p-7a I make $30.45 an hour.

I'm about to go to school to get my LVN license. Does anyone know what the starting pay rate is for LVN's in California/greater los Angeles area?

How about RN's, what do you guys make in LA?
