Pathophysiology Book Suggesions

Published

I currently have the Professional Guide to Pathophysiology and have decided that while it is easy to understand, it doesn't have enough diseases in it. Currently has 400 listed but out of the 5 times I've had to look up a disease for clinicals, I've had to resort to the Internet 3 of those times for lymphedema, osteoarthritis, and (drawing a blank on the last one). I thought these were too common to not be listed.

So I'm wondering what's the best pathophysiology book? Should I get one that NPs or med students use to get more out of it?

The gold standard for patho is Guyton... used in AP nursing programs & medical schools. Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology: with STUDENT CONSULT Online Access, 12e (Guyton Physiology): John E. Hall PhD: 9781416045748: Amazon.com: Books It's not cheap, but if you purchase the book, you get online access that can be renewed... and I think you can also get a downloadable version for e-readers if you want one.

Is this for just physiology or is it actually a pathophysiology book?
