Thanks...honestly the only thing i reviewed was the content guides and the practice exams...about 10 questions were word for word from the practice exams. I have the book but didn't use it at all. I was nervous too..i postponed it about 5 times...but i feel much better now that ive taken it. Good Luck on yours!

I have yet to take the test and will be scheduling it on payday 3/5/08. Can you give me an idea what the tests are like. Are they similar to NCLEX questions both pt and technical info questions? I'm very nervous about that first test.

Edith -

The test was ok.. I definitely didn't have the best study habits. I would highly recommend the Excelsior practice tests... I did have a TCN NC 1 study guide that I skimmed over and took notes.. ( I always do that and then never use the notes!) I also purchased Lisa Arends NC 1.. After getting study group 101's, I'm not sure if I'll use hers again. They're very informative, but kind of jumbled together in my opinion.

They are similar to NCLEX questions. Several of the answers seem as if they could be right, and you have to pick the best option. Make sure you know your psych safety.. I didn't review that stuff at all. That was the area I did the poorest on.

Hope this helps.
