106 questions!
Here is my study tips!
Nscbn 8 weeks , this had a huge amount of content , but was really good, i actually did this review twice! I know a lot but i failed my first
then hurst , this a a great course! I cant recommend this course high enough ! However due to there lack of questions to practice on i ended up with kaplan!
I did about half of kaplan , i felt on my test that a lot of the questions were at kaplan difficulty level !
I used Kaplan mainly for strategy! I still have 6 weeks left of this course remaining , i did q trainers and got between 55 -64 % , i did q bank and that was the same , hurst tests were 80/125 , so not really high scores , my last week i did PDA and did the first 21 chapters, this really helped! I scored 60 to 75% ,
Thats all i really used , i think the hardest thing was trying to keep-myself constantly up to speed in all the topics required for nclex, thats were hurst helps the most as a video is 40 mins to an hour , i am absolutely delighted about passing and see myself as lucky to do so as its a hard exam! Happy my study paid off ! Good luck and god bless to everyone else!

Congrats! So happy for you! I am still waiting for my results... Good luck in your career!
I failed second attempt.. I am thinking to do NCBSN now I don't have budget for big review and I will listen to Hurst videos I have access for it I am a bit disappointed I felt I did much better from first time but I'll wait for my CPR results and see the improvement..
Am sorry to hear that I would get Kaplan strategy review book from eBay as well as hurst, and if you bought a big review last time it may offer a free extension or refund
No I used Kaplan second time was for free! I have the Kaplan strategy book.. I was thinking buying ncbsn I can offered their 5 weeks session.. I need to see my CPR firs to see what made me not pass! I am staying positive!!
Nscbn covers loads , it is huge in its content , and i would definitely recommend it
I will thanks thats my plan!

I will say congrats to you!
I would not recommend hurst, please see my prior thread about my experience.
I took my exam today, if I failed, ncsbn, is where I may turn to next....I don't know, I really don't!!!!!
They are definitely, yes its a lot of money , however my first pick would be hurst, not the audio thats floating around free , you need to see them and get the print out papers and work through their folder and the 5th day materials , also their practice test has loads of sata questions , i could hear their southern accent in my head, and PDA by lacharity , that is really good, i ripped out the pages as i did each chapter, i felt that strangely better?
Some questions i got on my test i had never studied for, unusual topics , some questions were not clear in what they required to know? These were very hard questions and thats where Kaplan strategy helped ,there content videos are not great but Barbara explaining rational is, its a safety exam, i studied intensely for about 8 weeks , i do work as a nurse nearlyfulltime but every second i had i studied , then i took 2 weeks off before sitting the test , and it was the last week everything started to click! On the last 2 days before my exam i watched the hurst videos back to back , focused on my weak areas, and on the morning of my exam as i got on my make up to get ready , i listened to strategy by kaplan for 10 mins, i drove to the test centre and took a wrong turn , got there at 7.50!! My test was at 8! I was a total nervous wreck! But i kept thinking hurst , i will do my best not to harm anyone and sort the problem
