Hi Everyone! I just found out this morning that I passed NCLEX. My advise, take a prep course. I took Kaplan. I know it is expensive but it is soooooo worth it. I got a 56% on both Question trainers 6 and 7. Those are supposed to be the most indicative of passing and I "failed" them both. I finished the Q bank and read the book. I do not have a medical background and my curriculum was accelerated, so I feel like I needed to study more than most.
I had 120ish questions. 4 med/calcs, a ton of SATA and meds. At 75 I thought I was toast. I left feeling AWFUL. Just know that you will probably feel that way. Please do not listen to people saying this and that about how many questions you get means you passed or failed. Good luck to everyone! Just know that this is a really, really hard test so be gentle with yourself.
Nursingatlanta - yes, most of us felt exactly like you during and after the test. I got physically sick both times. All I can say is try to stay positive and know that you did the best you could. Getting the last question wrong has no bearing on whether you pass or not. Try to stay busy to keep your mind busy. I'm sure you did fine....:icon_hug:
I had 245 questions today too, and by the way, this is not a hard exam, I failed the first time and this is my second time yeah, but it all depends on your luck, if you're lucky you'll pass. I see it as inappropriate to be graded by an adaptive ****. I have been an oncology nurse for 4 years and 75% of the questions were confusing and nonsense, even if you answer the right one, if the computer or they dont want it to be right, then it is not right. I'm really depressed now, I hate nclex and I hate NCSBN because they know how to get money from people.

All depends on your answer to how many questions you get. I took it 3 times and first time 265 second I think was 150'ish and last time was 265 or very close to it. Passed on third
