I am from Philippines and currently staying in Everett, Washington state US as a tourist for 6 months (until February). I will be taking my NCLEX exam here maybe this November.
here are my questions:
1. If I pass my NCLEX, If I cant get an employrer who will help me process my papers. what should I do?
2. If I dont pass my NCLEX exam, Is it best for me to just go back in the Philippines and wait the retrogression to stop? because I wanted to be a legal worker in the US.
please, can someone help me decide what to do? thanks

either you pass or fail the nclex exam, you should go back to the Philippines after 6 mos.of staying in the u.s. you can get a sponsor but you have to back and wait until your p.d becomes current. while waiting you can apply as a staff nurse in the phil.and you have to take ielts exam. gain some hospital expirience first then you can apply to other countries. :paw::paw:

since you are on a tourist visa you should know the limitations of it and one of it is not to work or overstay there. even if you manage to pass the nclex-rn exam there is nothing can be done because of the retrogrssion, i hope you are updated by this. you have to return to philippines before your 6 months visa lapsed and continue your usa dream here by merely applying for a job as staff nurse while you process your papers and wait for your PD ( priority date) to be current. it is better to wait than be sorry.:loveya:

Regardless you are affected by retrogression and have to leave when you tourist visa is up. There is no way even if you find an employer on adjusting your visa and staying in the US and working.
Some of my relatives say that it is going to be easy looking for a job even If i pass or fail because some hospitals process your paper for as long as it needs nurses. How true is this?
even though they are in need of nurse but the fact that there is an ongoing retrogression nothing cannot be done even if you have a petitioner. you cannot do it in a shortcut way. the best thing you have to do is go back to philippines and wait for undefinite years no one knows when will be that be and have your experience. maybe try your luck in other country while waiting for your usa dream. patience is a virtue and you must have it.:redbeathe
No visas then no way to work and if you want to work as a RN then you have to pass NCLEX. As mentioned with retrogression you have to return home once your tourist visa time is up and wait or look at another country
