Passed IELTS? Do you want to work in BC?

Published

A very strange thing happened today. Someone from US called me and asked why I want to work in Canada. He used to be an attorney in the US embassy and recruiting nurses for US. But since he knows about the retro, his now recruiting nurses for CAnada. But I think only in BC.

He said that his looking for 100 RN, with IELTS and already have a clinical experience at least 6 months. If CRNBC permits you to take CRNE, a hospital where his connected will sponsor those who were approved. He'll come here on April. Its worth to try! Just send me a PM and I'll give you my number.

This is part of the latest email he sent me....

Its a direct hire so they dont need to pay ANYTHING there, its only the POEA fees when they are about to leave for Canada.

The company will refund their expenses like, PRC certificate to CRNBC, TOR from School registrar to CRNBC, Ielts Review and Ielts fees to CRNBC, the CRNBC fees of $262.50 Canadian Dollars, fares to British Colombia.

All of these expenses will be refunded ONLY AFTER they are assessed by CRNBC and ACCEPTED the hospital offer.

BC's a good idea...I hope everything turns out well for you guys.

Oh! and the Memorandum Circular (MC) 04, series of 2007..concerning the $5000 bond was suspended last month http://globalnation.inquirer.net/news/breakingnews/view/20080214-118871/POEA-suspends-memo-on-employers-5000-repatriation-bond

(as explained by our cute administration..the employer doesnt realy pay 5K...it's about $35-$50 yearly for the BOND premium...5K's d coverage)

happy easter guys!

And by the time that one pays their plane fare and travel expenses incurred until they pass their exam, as well as any other expenses; it is going to be a hefty some that many are not going to be able to pay.

Sorry, but even in the US, even if an agency hires you, you still get you plane fare taken care of, etc.

There are going to be many more out of pocket expenses here that most will not be able to afford on top of everything else. And what if the nurse does not pass the exam the first time? What are the repercussions to them as well?

I understand completely that many of you are willing to do whatever to leave your country, but do so when you have investigated everything thoroughly and completely and know every single fee of what you will need to pay. Not one expense will be refunded until you pass the licensing exam, it is only given a couple of times per year and with a month or two wait to find it if you have passed.

You can call this whatever you want, but I think that any of you that go for this are being taken advantage of. Of course, you are free to do as you want, and I have stated my opinion on it.

And also seriously doubt that they were an attorney for the US Embassy, anywhere. He is a recruiter, plain and simple.

Oh good. And another good news is that the Labor Secretary who was the brain child of this is no longer on that position and already a Justice in the Supreme Court.

I seriously doubt the authenticity of that email... Just picking up on small cues... It doesn't look like it was a written by a professional... Sorry, but this looks like a scam to me. Be careful guys.

My point exactly, if it was an attorney for the US Embassy, then it would have been much more professional in the first place.

They will have to take their chances with it, they have been warned.

I am interested at this Lenjoy, pls post for more details.. I would like to know more about that employer you are talking about. Anyway, there's no harm in further asking the so called employer..

:thnkg:

:yeahthat:

well, if he comes on April be sure that you will not be convinced if the hiring is for Saskatchewan, North Battelford or Prince Alberta. You may be excited to go to Canada but you are in for a big shock when you find out you are going to the places which have the worst weather in the country and are stuck in small populated towns.
