Passed Health Safety!!!

i enrolled at ec in march and took the heath safety exam april 28th. i passed with an a:yeah: i was so nervous being that this was my first exam and the fact that i received 75% on practice exam a and 73% on b. i read many post on this site and thanks to all the encouragement i was able to stay focused on my accomplishment and feel confident. my next exam is chronicity and i plan to get the materials listed on the content guide and i also have lisa arends nc1-7. please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Congrats! I'm starting out as well..so behind schedule..but I'm determined. What did you use to study with? Did you only use the books suggested and/or other study aids?

Thank you! I purchased the Lisa Arends CD and I purchased the required text just to verify the info. I found Lisa Arends to be a good study guide because reading a textbook all the time can be a little overwhelming. A lot of the test questions were common sense from LPN school and you may be able to substitute your nursing books. Also the practice test are a most because they tell you what you need to focuse on. I kept scoring low in psychological safety, so I focused on that area the most and ended up scoring 92% on the exam in that section.

Congrats! I'm getting ready to take this test in two weeks any pointers? I have Lisa Arends and Challcellors.

Do you think that enough? What should I be more concertrate on? I'm scared:confused:

There is Study group 101, but u should be fine. Good luck. I thought it was the easiest one so far.

great!! congratulations!! :yeah: so you should do great on the next one! when are you planning on taking it?

i ordered lisa arends for dev psych and micro... some of her misspellings and grammar errors bug me, but i will still use the material.... i haven't decided yet whether to order hers for the nursing exams. not sure if i'm going to take health safety or transition first. still waiting on review of transcripts, and i haven't yet enrolled.
