Passed exit hesi, not theory

Published

Nurses I need help. . . I took my last class adult health. I received a 870 on my exit hesi but I pass the class with a 88 and the clinical. I came back and took the "course " over and received a 940 on exit, 77 in theory (needed a 78) and clinical grade is being taken from the semester before. Is there any way I can challenge the nclex with what I have done ?

Fyi I am done this was my last class for nursing school.

Your state board of nursing will require "successful" completion of the program - will your school provide that?

I doubt you can sit for NCLEX. Your school will have to say you completed the program successfully which you did not do. Ask the dean of your program what can be done (if anything) since you were so close. They may allow you to take the class again which sucks, but beats the heck out of nothing being allowed.
