So I tested Dec 7-9th 2012 at St. Peter's in Albany! The site was great, the CE's were amazing as was the CA! This test is passable on the first go round, if you are prepared! I honestly recommend doing a workshop prior to testing- if anyone wants to know what workshop I took message me! I passed all my labs Friday night- which really made going into Saturday-one less thing to worry about!! Friday night went back to my hotel- took my kardex to the restaurant got dinner and a huge Sangria- worked on my careplan highlighted everything I needed to do and went back to room and did a practice grid! Saturday I passed both PCS's with a minor blip in my second PCS- but because I verbalized EVERYTHING in room- I was good-whew! Sunday am got my Kardex did my grid my careplan and was good to go! I did everything with the pt perfectly my documentation was perfect- one problem- I left a blank box on eval form- fail! CE was so encouraging- she said it was an oversight- she said I know you will pass your next one- you are meant to be a RN! Ok great- deep breath, regroup- get my kardex- highlighted everything- including eval form!!! Did my grid and careplan went into implementation! Did everything I needed to do- documented-double checked and handed it in. Congratulations you passed!!! YAY!!! Again it's doable!! If anyone has questions feel free to message me! Good luck to all future testers!!!!!
