Pass NCLEX 8th time

Published

Graduated Nursing school 8 years ago, taken NCLEX for the 8th time last May 8, 2017, PASS! i finished all 265 questions in 5hours and 45min. Walked out the testing center feeling defeated, again, for the 8th time. We went straight home and i can't even eat, crying because i know i failed again. My mom said don't think about anything right now, just relax. The next day i went to work, talking to GoD while driving, i was telling him i can't take another depression if i fail again, my mind is tired so as my heart and my body, i really prayed hard that he will give it to me this time. never tried the pvt trick before, but because of too much anxiety, i tried it, got the "good pop-up" but still i wasn't convince, spend my 1hour break searching if the pvt works haha.. the next day, 4hours before quick results appear, i did the pvt again, "good pop-up" still not convince coz there's a few that says it doesn't work. Finally, 4:30pm, purchased the quick results, and tadddaaaa!! PASS! I cried and called my mom and my husband, i thank GOD, i almost gave up of my dream to becoming a Registered Nurse because of my failures in ny past exam. So to those of you that feels on giving up, don't give up, if this is your dream and you know this is your calling go for it! You may not get it on your first, second, third or how many tries, still don't give up, focus on your material, read and read, answer questions everyday even for just 2hours. If i did it, you can do it too! Good luck future RN's!!!

Would you mind sending me your pneumonic study guide?

Congratulations on passing and not giving up! Your story is inspirational!

Hi my fellow RN's and soon to be RN's i just want to let all of you know that the email i am sending you is the study guide posted by our fellow RN here in allnurses.com a few years ago. I just copied it and saved it on my laptop. It helped me a lot so i'm trying to give back by also helping others. So the credits should all go to her/him. Thank you and Goodluck!! :)

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm on my 7th try and pretty desperate now. Can you please share the material that was helpful for you, please? Thanks a lot! my email: [email protected]

Thank you for giving me hope. I am working up the courage to take it again myself for the 5th time. I graduated in 2011. I'm just at a loss on where to begin. If you have any tips on studying I'd love to hear them!

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering for those that have attempted the nclex multiple times, is your state requiring that you remediate, mine does after the third attempt, do anyone know if you can elect a different state to test? Remediation is very costly in my state starting from $1200-$2000. I am all for remediation as it just may help to find out what you are missing, yet there has to be another alternative at least I hope so, mainly due to having to pay for re-testing fees as well. Thanks for your responses !!!

Congratulations! I admire your strength, strong will, determination and perseverance.
