Graduated Nursing school 8 years ago, taken NCLEX for the 8th time last May 8, 2017, PASS! i finished all 265 questions in 5hours and 45min. Walked out the testing center feeling defeated, again, for the 8th time. We went straight home and i can't even eat, crying because i know i failed again. My mom said don't think about anything right now, just relax. The next day i went to work, talking to GoD while driving, i was telling him i can't take another depression if i fail again, my mind is tired so as my heart and my body, i really prayed hard that he will give it to me this time. never tried the pvt trick before, but because of too much anxiety, i tried it, got the "good pop-up" but still i wasn't convince, spend my 1hour break searching if the pvt works haha.. the next day, 4hours before quick results appear, i did the pvt again, "good pop-up" still not convince coz there's a few that says it doesn't work. Finally, 4:30pm, purchased the quick results, and tadddaaaa!! PASS! I cried and called my mom and my husband, i thank GOD, i almost gave up of my dream to becoming a Registered Nurse because of my failures in ny past exam. So to those of you that feels on giving up, don't give up, if this is your dream and you know this is your calling go for it! You may not get it on your first, second, third or how many tries, still don't give up, focus on your material, read and read, answer questions everyday even for just 2hours. If i did it, you can do it too! Good luck future RN's!!!
Congratulations! Such an inspiring story! I am taking my NCLEX by the end of the week, which is exactly three weeks from when I graduated from nursing school. If you don't mind me asking though, do you think test anxiety played a huge role in your previous unsuccessful attempts?
Hi, yes, test anxiety played a huhe role on my previous failures plus not having the time to study because i've been working almost everyday, my body and mind is already tired so i can't focus. But the last time i took the exam, i took some time off to review, i am more relaxed, and the day before my exam, i didn't even bother to open my reviewer. The next day, i didn't think about the exam until i sat infront of the computer. So just relax, stay calm and you can do it
hi again, your story is very inspiring as you can see... we all are just trying to get any help possible. Is it possible you can forward me that study guide you mentioned. I would be very greatful. Congratulations again !!!thank you
my email id:
Hello! congratulations on PASSING THE NCLEX!
I have been struggling to pass it.. Is it possible to send me the pneumonics? here is my email [email protected]
Thank you and God bless!
Hello, for those who are asking for the nclex study guide i mentioned before, i'm sorry, i'd loved to send it but one of the senior moderators from this forum called my attention that it would be illegal to send the material, they said it was a copyright and was not consented by the owner to be shared or copied. I would just advise to concentrate in the saunders, lippincott and la charity book. Whatever on the study guide is was from the book saunders too, it was just simplified and pneumonics was made. I know that study guide is somewhere here in the forum for i also found it here and someone posted it. You can all do it, just focus on the materials you have. Answer practice questions everyday.
Hi solstice Rn may you send that study guide and anything else that Helped to pass the NCLEX to my email please. It's [email protected] just recently took the board and am scared for my results but I can't wait for the letter so I'm trying to study even though i don't know if I passed or not. I left feeling 50/50 that day.
Congrats on passing, that gives me inspiration to try again. I've failed twice and graduated almost 4 years ago and just took it in April and failed. I can't afford the cost so that's why I've waited and life happens. Can you please email me your study guide? [email protected]
Don't give up, nothing is impossible. If you graduated around 4 years ago, how much time they give to pass NCLEX? just curious cause I've heard every state is different..

Omg! I really need to talk to you, I'm in almost the same boat as you. Please please please get in touch with me. I'm at the point where I just wanna give up on everything in life. I failed for the 4th time I found out today. I'm heart broken, it's been 5 years. I suffered a trauma right around graduation and spent 2 years in a solid state of depression dealing with PTSD after it. Then when I finally was mentally able to focus on studying for NCLEX everything had really escaped my memory. And it's been a struggle ever since. I need help to maybe see what helped you after all these years.
If u could find it in your heart to respond back so I can contact you not publicly on these boards I would be forever grateful!!! Really hope to hear from you soon!!!
