Hi,
I've heard that it's not recommended to work while enrolled as a student in an RN program. I'm applying for the Spring Semester at PCC and while I do intend to leave my current employer should I be accepted, I was wondering if there were people who made the attempt to work part-time or possibly in the summer.
Any opinions?
Thanks!
so the alternates have received emails?
i feel uneasy about only getting a call. somehow it doesn't seem official to me and i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. hope we get an email or letter soon.
the guy who called me asked if i had taken the teas, so that makes me wonder if they're still selecting the final candidates after they have the exam.
Jules23, I was asked to submit my TEAS score. Have you taken the test? Did they ask you about it?
The guy I spoke to didn't sound like he was up on all the info since he was trying to fill in for the person in charge. And he had to call me back a few times cos he forgot to tell me/ask something. I didn't feel confident that I got all the info I needed.
atarkehin,
That's odd, that they would tell you not to send your scores. When I asked him if I should submit my TEAS score, he put me on hold to check with someone. Then he told me to go ahead and send them.
Also, sounds like alternates and those declined received emails. But those admitted have not?

No, i think you can have a B in one of the sciences, but other than that its just luck of the draw. I haven't heard anything yet either.
