Hi,
I've heard that it's not recommended to work while enrolled as a student in an RN program. I'm applying for the Spring Semester at PCC and while I do intend to leave my current employer should I be accepted, I was wondering if there were people who made the attempt to work part-time or possibly in the summer.
Any opinions?
Thanks!
From what everyone and their mothers tell me, it's difficult to work and go to school. I'm definitely gonna quit my job since school schedule and my work schedule conflict. I'm not sure how manageable it is to have a part time job that's more flexible. I'm going to see after the first semester how it goes. Maybe you can also just go to school for that first semester until you figure out how the schedule will go for you.
And I fell you on moving. PCC is about 25 miles from me so I'll probably have to move too.
Yah. Unfortunately, that's all we can do. I'm assuming the chances of getting an acceptance at this point are slim though, since people have been receiving calls since Friday and they only accept 60 people. Hopefully I'm wrong though! Especially since it's so late and most people have already accepted seats elsewhere. That'll leave more room for us! Hopefully? Good luck either way. This lottery thing kills me.

You haven't heard from LA City College yet? They sent out notices mid-May.
