Hey guys, I just turned in my application for PCC today and I wanted to start a thread to see who else applied. Share stats, questions, etc... on here :)

From what I remember I was at a little over 70 points. How many points did you calculate you have?

I joined the facebook group because if I do get accepted, it's going to be a mad dash together everything done in time for the first day of class, and it will be helpful to see what everyone else has done. Anyways, someone said that the group e-mail from the school went from 33 people to 26. So either people dropped from the program or there are separate e-mail groups. Hopefully it's the former because that is a large number of open spots if they fill to the 40 person capacity of the class schedule.

I didn't hear anything from the school today and I doubt they will be sending anything out on the weekend, so hopefully we hear something on Monday.

Any news anyone?

I feel like i might not even accept my acceptance if I get chosen, I was planning to quit my job, but at this rate i wouldnt even be able to give a 2 week notice, since classes are starting soon. :(

I'm checking my e-mail 100 times a day. I'm hoping that maybe after nursing boot camp we hear something.

I emailed them to ask where I stood on the alternate list and they responded, saying "we cannot check the status at this time" and reiterated that if I don't hear back by Friday, that i need to reapply.

Yes it was my first time applying to PCC. Rio Hondo rejected me earlier this year. I was only eligible to apply at these two CC's because I was lacking 1 class to apply any at other CC
