Hey guys, I just turned in my application for PCC today and I wanted to start a thread to see who else applied. Share stats, questions, etc... on here :)

For those of you that called, was the lady rude? I'm on the alternate list and I called just to ask if there was a numbering system, and she seemed real mean :(

of all the times I have called, I think they have only picked up once and they were nice. It was mostly impossible to get a hold of them, and only like 50% of my emails got a response. Even the times I have gone to their office in person, it is like pulling teeth to find out anything. I'm sure they are inundated with calls and emails and questions up the ass, but they could make their lives a whole lot easier if they would make the information easily accessible on the website. It feels like they love keeping everything this big secret mystery, but get upset when we want to know anything.

Yeah same here. I was even surprised when they answered on the second ring, I've tried calling with 0 luck. The lady told me they do have an order of the alternate list, but their not disclosing that information to students. I guess trying to prevent the flood of calls of students asking their #. But I mean, students are still calling lol. It would make everyone's life easier if all that information can be accessible. Till then, the waiting game :(

Does anyone know if any other alternate have been accepted? I don't want to lose hope. Someone from the spring semester told me that he received his alternate acceptance 1 week before classes started so I'm trying to be patient by it is very hard. :(

Awww I feel you and in the same boat. I'm checking everyday as well to see if I'll get that lucky letter. Good luck to you!

I'm waiting as well. One alternate from a couple pages back was accepted so hopefully we get more people denying their spots.

Does your friend from the spring semester know how many alternates that there are?

If it's a 7 out of 10 alternates accepted scenario, we all have a decent shot. But if it's more like 7 out of 25, I'm nervous! The waiting is awful, isn't it?

Yes, this waiting game is making me super anxious. I hope we all get notified that we are in. My friend said to watch out for phone calls because he was an emergency alternate and he was called by PCC.

Was he emailed after the phone call? or just a phone call?
