Hey guys, I just turned in my application for PCC today and I wanted to start a thread to see who else applied. Share stats, questions, etc... on here :)
I am still waiting too.. i am starting to think if they have my email correct.. i am not sure why they are sending out emails so scattered.. i want to have some closure if i got rejected. I am not sure how much longer we are supposed to wait.
Awww I know they mentioned if you don't hear by the 23rd to give them a call. I would def call and see if they can give you a status update. Good luck to you! I've been chosen as an alternate.

I emailed them last Saturday because other people were starting to hear back and I wanted to see where I stood. I heard back on Monday that I was an alternate. They may have been sending mine on Monday regardless of whether I emailed them or not, but it's worth a shot if you're sick of waiting and/or worried that they have the wrong email address.
Thank you everyone for the information and suggestions. I did contact them before, but each time, I was told a new, different deadline that they will notify me by. I still haven't received any notification. And when I called today, it went to voicemail. I am thinking about applying to other schools for Spring. Any suggestions on which other nursing programs you recommend? Maybe I should apply to all this time. I am looking into public, ADN programs. I want to do something about the situation, because this extended wait has been killing me inside.
Hello! Mine is also 8/17. Im hoping we will hear back sooner rather than later with some sort of update in our status since most students have to submit their intent by today I think. I'm thinking hopefully by next week they will have a better idea of how many spots will have opened up. That might be wishful thinking since they have been so slow with notifying students. For most programs, they tend to accept the same amount of alternates as accepted students... So I'm thinking if they accepted say 35 students, 35 would also be chosen as alternates. It's just tough waiting some more and not knowing where we stand or fall on their wait list. Sending good vibes to everyone who is an alternate or waiting to hear back!!
QUOTE=Bosoxgirl3358;9901571]TO ALL ALTERNATES:
What is the end date of your alternate status? I'm not sure if they give out different dates, so it may be interesting to compare dates.
Mine in August 17.
